This is a very good product. With large pouches
This is a very good product. With large pouches, and back to back, I expected there would be some bounce, and there is, but to me it's not too excessive. I can fit 3 sandwiches vertically in one of the pouches, with a 4th sandwich that lies flat on top of them. My smart phone can fit any of the pockets too. I gave this 4 stars because I found the water bottles hard to use. I use other bottles because the pull up nipples don't allow for easy access to the water, way too much effort involved for the small amount of water that you get per attempt. I find this perfect for 15 mile run/walks, since it can hold lots of food. Just a word of advice, because there is a bounce, use shorter bottles if you substitute them, as the taller ones will hit your back on a bounce.

An excellent lumbar bag
I have owned another, smaller UD lumbar bag for running (single bottle) for some time and always loved it. I bought this for day hikes with my wife and three children, and I am still a big fan. This particular model has a very large compartment that is big enough for a zoom lens for my DSLR (with plenty of space left over) so that I don't have to carry another camera bag while I'm on hikes. The side flaps also have enough space to carry two cell phones and keys, and you could cram in even a bit more. The entire rig cinches down snugly and comfortably against your body, and the outside strap for holding a light jacket is an added bonus, as are the elastic straps to hold the bottles in place. My only real complaint, which isn't an issue for me, is that the water bottles blast water out with some velocity. This has never bothered me, but my kids don't care for it when I squeeze the water into their mouths so as to avoid their slobber all over the spouts. I wouldn't run with this bag, but for outdoor treks, it's awesome.

relatively spacious and very nice bag
I really like this pack. I used to wear waist packs when I was in my twenties because I walked everywhere. They take the load off your shoulders and are very convenient. Now I have been doing some photography, I am using this pack in an off-label manner to carry my lenses and my camera. There are many camera solutions that are very convenient for photography but less convenient for walking (like the absence of a water solution).I have relatively small equipment (micro-4/3rds) which makes things a bit easier but I am pleasantly surprised by how much I can put in the pack. Right now I have put a phone in the right side pocket, odds and ends in the left side pocket, a 60mm lens and a camera with a 75mm lens in the main pocket, and a 45mm lens in the rear pocket. It is pretty full but there is still room for more. And I am hoping that when we go hiking, my wife will use it for food and water (I will have a backpack).

Five Stars
Comfortable, durable, doesn't slip or loosen around the waist even on long, strenuous hikes.

Great for hiking!
I love this pack and use it frequently on long hikes. I needed a way to carry more than just one water bottle and also have room to store snacks and a diaper when I hike while wearing my toddler on my back. This pack fits wonderfully around the waistband of my baby carrier and holds a TON! I can bring plenty of snacks, my phone and keys, a diaper and small pack of wipes, and a small first aid kit. I love that the pack is balanced and doesn't tilt forward when the water bottles are full too.It looses a star because I wish it came with stainless steel bottles vs plastic and I really dislike the valves on the lids. I unscrew the lids completely to drink out of them. I am looking for replacement bottles that I like more and fit in the holders. Otherwise, it's a great pack!

Comfortable, roomy pack... especially for a water fight!
I tried this on in a certain co-op sporting goods store along with others by Camelbak, Osprey, etc. This one was by far the most comfortable with the least amount of sag and bounce. I use it for day hikes because I have shoulder issues and prefer not to wear a backpack if I can avoid it. This works perfectly for me.Pros:-The waist strap is wide and sits comfortably on my hips. It stays put and doesn't loosen while I hike.-The pack has never become uncomfortable to wear as the hike goes on.-Minimal top sag and bounce-Large, roomy pockets that hold a surprising amount of stuff-Can hold a large amount of water-The water bottle pockets are semi rigid so it's super easy to put the bottles back in by just reaching behind.Cons:-The water bottles blast like a fire hose. I don't like to put my mouth on the spout so the water either hits inside my mouth and sprays back out like I have a spoon in my mouth or it hits inside my throat and then sprays back out my nose and I risk dry land drowning. Neither are desirable nor get the water where it needs to go so I end up unscrewing the tops. The water will easily squirt over 10 feet when squeezing with the minimum pressure needed to activate the spout. If you are having a water fight in the woods and not looking to hydrate these are the bottles to bring!-The logo on the main pocket makes a loud swishy swishy sound as it stretches back and forth with every step I take. I know this is petty but it's worth mentioning if you don't like your zen broken when traversing nature. I'm hoping that over time the screen printing will wear out and crack and it'll stop making so much noise.Overall, I highly recommend this pack. It was by far the most comfortable I tried on and you can still pack plenty of food and accessories for a day hike. The bottles suck but that's a minor issue easily remedied.
