Lost the original battery for an old camcorder. Had to google the model number. Fits and works perfectly. Was able to retrieve old cassettes.

Works perfectly - a good find for my older Sony video camera. It functions like the factory-brand product that came with the camera, but lasts longer, per charge. I'm very pleased!

I ordered this battery despite conflicting reviews. One states that it is not compatible with the SONY DSLR-A100 camera, and another one states that it did work. Though the seller, STK/SterlingTek, does not list the A100 among the compatible devices, they do say "100% OEM Compatible - Complies with or exceeds OEM Sony NP-FM50 NP-FM55H Battery specs." I took a chance and ordered the battery. It arrived discharged. I popped it into the SONY charger, it did it's thing. When I tried it, it started up just fine, no compatibility complaint from the camera.The STK battery claims to be 2200mAh, which works out to more than the stock sony battery (around 1600mAh after you crunch the numbers). I've only used it a little bit and have not had a chance to put it through it's paces. As I only take pictures infrequently, it will be a while before I can fully evaluate it. If it works out, I'll see if I can up this another star.

Great quality

First i was very shocked to be able to find this replacement battery for our camcorder. The battery is exactly as described in description, we have not used it as of yet, but it was exactly what we were looking for and the price was VERY VERY GOOD .. i thought it would of cost alot more if i even was able to find it. we are very pleased we found it at a AFFORDABLE price.

Just received it and charged it. It works in the handy-cam. What more can I say. So far, so good.

I have an older Sony Mavica disk camera that has taken a back burner to my Canon T3. I needed to view the pictures on the disc in the Sony and discovered, to my dismay, that the only way that I could do that was to tether the camera to the charger. I noticed the camera wouldn't stay "connected" to the charger and thereby receive a charge. I decided for the price, I would give this battery a try. My expectations were largely satisfied when I installed the battery and my camera "came to life" when I pushed the power button. I decided to charge the battery anyway as I want to use the camera for Christmas photo ops.

So far no problems with this battery pack. It charged full quickly and brought my older camcorder back to life. Would buy again
