Will the product be more effective in damp hair...0r dry hair. And do I need to apply it every day or is it one of those hair products that still last

Just barely damp. Pending on your style you might be able to rinse out with water and style with just a mouse or light hair spray the next day. It's got some pretty good hold.

Is this a water resistant stying wax

No hair product is water resistant It holds up pretty good in the heat but not rain

Good for someone who has a undercut combover?

This product isn't good for any hairstyle 
