Gator Cases Hard-Shell Wood Case for Standard Electric Guitars, Fits Fender Strat/Tele Style (GWE-ELEC)

Fit's my 1976 Fender Precision Bass perfectly. Good quality inside and out. What I really love about it is how thin it is because it fits the last remaining narrow space in my guitar stand (pictured). Psychologically, this means I can't buy any more guitars, basses, and mandolins (I hope!), lol.UPDATE: I found that my P-Bass was shifting around in the case when moving it, so I returned it. sometimes love sours, I guess.

Excellent case my strat fit perfectly with plenty of room to spare in headroom which is a little discerning but I'd rather be too big than too small other than that the case is well made locks are good etc

I've purchased two of these. I think they're excellent cases at a great price. Obviously, if you gig heavily and they get thrown around by moving gorillas, etc... they're not going to hold up, but what will outside of a ATA road case? As stated, I've purchased two of these. I bought one from a rather large, online, music retailer that includes candy in their packages at the same time I bought my Reverend Eastsider T (a Tele style guitar). One thing you need to know is that a Tele will fit, but there will be about a 2-3 inch gap that the guitar can slide. So, if you open the case and are looking down at the guitar body, it can slide from left to right that distance. There is no slack from front from to back (where the hinges are). Also, once the lid is closed, the guitar is held in place so the guitar is held in place so don't freak out when you see the gap. It's fine. I bought the second one off of Amazon for my 70th Anniversary Player Stratocaster that came with a cheap, good for nothing, gig bag. Unlike a Tele style, the Stratocaster fits perfectly with no side to side or front to back movement.Bottom line, I'd recommend this case to anyone that needs reliable protection at home, or for light gigging (where you are personally handling the instrument for load in/out).

Looks good and feels solid enough. Shipped in an oversized box with the case wrapped in a plastic bag. The side of the box was blown open and bag had tears all over. Other than a small spot of damage to the tolex there were no issues with the case. It is good for the price and needed something with a height of 4" which is exactly what this one is.

I have a few Gator items. I'm happy with all the bags and cases. They're well made. It's a way to save a few bucks but not get garbage. This case is a great deal if you ask me. It's a little tight but it's works. I actually like that it's so slim. It's easier for storage and it holds my guitar with it moving around. I have the more expensive case and it's great also. I just wanted to save a few bucks so I got this one. It fits my new EVH 5150 and it also fit my Strat. I'm left handed. So its important that my cases fit universal. A lot of times you will find cases that perfectly fit right handed. You need to check if you're a lefty like me. This will do the trick though. I prefer hard cases over bags for my guitars. This is basic. Has a spot for a bit of cables or whatever. The EVH just fits. If the body was any longer it wouldn't fit. So make sure your guitar will fit. It says it's made for strat style guitars.

Case has solid styrofoam behind the liner which "doesn't allow ANY flexibility" like most other case manufacturers. I was thoroughly shocked and disappointed as your guitar MUST BE THE EXACT MEASUREMENTS or less to fit.QUOTE FROM DESCRIPTION: "carrying case for musicians who tend to "stay close to home". Drop it off a truck, the edge of the stage, or on the stairs? ...NO WAY! Your guitar will get damaged. ...and it's CERTAINLY NOT A FLIGHT CASE as someone posted.If your guitar isn't exactly the size of the interior or less, forget it! "So-called interior padding does not have any flexibility whatsoever" ! It's HARD DENSE STYROFOAM like used for shipping guitars! You can't compress it to form to your guitar. I've NEVER seen such a design!!!Words can not describe the shock when I received this case for an Electric Bass Guitar (GWE-BASS) as well as the ABS Molded Case for Extra Long Electric Guitars!!!HARD STYROFOAM "SO-CALLED" PADDING UNDER THE INTERIOR CLOTH!!! ...ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!?!RETURNED BOTH THIS GWE-BASS CASE “AND” THE EXTRA LONG ELECTRIC GUITAR CASE I PURCHASED.After this I'll NEVER buy another Gator case again! -- You don't even get what you pay for.
