Redken Creative Curl Perm Kit

I was looking for the fine and limp formula as pictured. What I received twice is the normal/resistant formula. I know it would burn my hair if I used it. I have used the fine and limp formula for over 30 yrs and it is the only perm that works well for my baby soft hair. I returned it since it is not what I thought I was ordering.

Creative curl gives a very long lasting curl without the relaxation problem that so many perms are known for. I have used this perm for about 40 years and am very sad that Redken is no longer making this perm. It is great for fine limp hair.

I used this perm for over 30 years and loved it. Most of my friends marveled at my wash and wear "naturally curly" hair. Unfortunately , Redken changed the formula in 2011 and ruined it. I have had 3 Creative curl perms since then with terrible results , dry lifeless hair. frizzy on the ends, flat near scalp. Same hairdresser, same rollers, same time processing. After two of my friends using the same hairdresser and same perm complained of similar bad results, I talked to Redken in New york and found out that the formula had been changed. I am now seeking a gentle natural looking perm for my untreated but fine hair. Unless Redken goes back to old formula I would not recommend this perm.
