Wreckfest - Deluxe Edition - Xbox One

I have always loved racing games that have lot of crashing and damage all the way back to the Destruction Derby on the PS1....If you liked that game back in the day you will love this one!When I saw this was coming out I was anxious to see how it would be.I have played all these types of games over the years and most are messed up by the driving physics that just aren't right, but this one nails it perfect.....The cars are totally fun to drive, but still a challenge!Also I have to add the tracks are amazing, I don't remember ever seeing a game with this many unique and different tracks and arenas to race on....the track selection is extremely varied!There are a few glitches on a menu or two and long load times, but those pale in comparison to how enjoyable this game is....the graphics showing the cars and damage are all top notch as well!I will be playing this for a few months!--------------------------UpdateThey have already issued to 2 updates and fixed most all the issues I mentioned in my review, the slow loading times are the main thing that is left to fix. You can tell by the early updates they are serious about getting this game right!

The game gets 5 stars I love it it is everything I wanted it to be and reminds me of demolition racer on the ps1 from when I was a kid. The game has alot of cars and good customization for the cars and plenty of events to do. And with the deluxe edition you have access to all the cars and tracks they release though out the yearbut I pre ordered the game to get the preorder items but my order got lost so had to reorder it and I didnt end up getting the preorder items once again though the game is great

It's really good game the graphics are amazing in 4k but there could be more tracks to race on gets kind of repetitive a little

As a major fan of the Destruction Derby franchise, this game brings back all those vibes and then some! The variety of events and vehicles is fantastic, and the car destruction is unparalleled. I'd like to see loading times improved, but other than that I have zero complaints with this gem.

It's a fun amazing game.. but amazon sent the wrong one in the first place and also I preordered the game.. was so supposed to get the dlc car but didn't.. so yea

Serves two purposes. The early teen can get all the car crashes out of the way BEFORE getting in the real thing and after fighting rush hour traffic I can inflict the damage that I wanted to on the drive home without any insurance payouts....and nobody gets hurt except for a few thousand pixels..

Bought this for my 11 year old son, and he was so happy. He plays this all the time. It was pricey (as many new games are), but it's worth it. I haven't noticed any questionable content in it, and think it's suitable for his age and older.

I've been to demolition races and this was really accurate (if you set the difficulty settings). I loved the driving feel and how the vehicle handled differently based on what got damaged. It was a really good improvement over past demolition games I've played and the driving held up well to racing games. The specialty vehicles were an interesting novelty add. Only downside I found was multi-player required paying for a membership to Live. That's not unusual for games but still annoying because I wanted to play some friends who use a different platform.

Family Fun! We love putting this game on and watching all the crashes! Especially during the lockdowns. This game is high on our recommendation list! Great buy!
