Much smaller than expected. Very poor product
The net portion seems weak and the frame flimsy plus the string they call a rope is only about 2 feet long. Would never buy again. Can't catch a single minnow after trying for hours. Bought a different net

Do Not Purchase. Junk.
The item is junk. Center points slide around (not fixed so it tips very easily) and if it did work, expect it will collapse after first snag or medium sized catch. It is a toy. Supplied line is short and resembles sewing thread. And.......this trap floats!!!! That should give you a hint as to its serviceability. Shame on Amazon for not vetting this item.

I take back what I said previously about the Portable Harbour Fishing Net
This lightweight, portable, frail appearing net is not nearly as unsuccessful as I initially thought! After leaving this net in shallow water in the bayou off of our property with just a crumb of frozen shrimp nestled in the poorly constructed center bait pocket, I reeled the net in by hand. Inside were what appeared to be fry of some sort, possibly mullet, about 5-6 with every throw. I've also managed to catch a few crab, presumeably blue as they are the only ones I've been able to capture in the bayou connected to the Florida Gulf. Possibly the small fry could be bait, or, the crabs used educationally. So, as far as catching critters in shallow water, after using the net a few times I was able to achieve this.Still, the connector rope is too short. The thickness will probably due for what I will typically haul in. However, the use is for fun only. Not enough or large enough specimens for the most part have been caught to date. This is perfect for my younger daughters who like placing animals in a filtered aquarium or, to see what kind of spawn are found in our bayou of which we are still aquainting ourselves with.Pros: catches small fish and crabs Cons: frail netting light weight impossible to frisbee or toss net off shore so it easy to fold, store and carry will not overturn. several tries necessary good for dropping off dock or boat Must be carried to deeper water. Yield too low in number and small in size typically. Great for education & observation
