MakitaMakita 417853-4 Dust Extracting Nozzle, 4340FCT, 4350FCT, 4351FCT

Bought this device for my old Makita 4341FCT. It's made for the newer models like the 4351FCT however the base plates are identical. It works. It removes the dust like it should so that you can see your cut lines. Unfortunately the unit has two minor flaws. The Nozzle has to attach to either the left or right side of the jigsaw so you have to determine if you are a righty or lefty so you can see the cut lines (accurately) from one side. Secondly the hose connection is way too small for dust extractors. The diameter measures about 22mm and an adapter sold separately must be purchased to fit the various sizes of hoses thus the raising the cost (I use a 27mm hose from my Festool dust extractor). I had a 3/4" male MPT x Slip PVC adapter that fit. I used the slip side over the end of the Makita dust nozzle (tight fit) and the threaded side fits inside my 27mm hose and the added bonus of the threads makes the hose stay on. Overall I am pleased after the modifications.

I didn't know what to expect for $5, but for the price I figured I would try it out.The dust collector attaches to the base of the jigsaw. When connected it does a pretty good job collecting a fair amount of dust. Your view of the blade isn't obstructed too terribly. Unfortunately, it doesn't stay connected to the base very well at all.Overall I was disappointed. The collector came off the base far to easily. So much so that the added advantage of the dust collection wasn't worth the hastling of trying to keep it on the jigsaw.

Perfect fit like a glove and was very fairly priced ordered two more

This clipped onto my cordless makita jigsaw perfectly. Works great as it should. No issues.

Fummelte Montage durch einklicken in den Fuß der Maschine aus Metall. Da hält die Plastiknase natürlich nicht lange.

Also, ich wollte diese Absaugteil für meine Makita Stichsäge haben.Aber es ist für die hochwertige Stichsäge unbrauchbar.Es fällt immer wieder ab, sei es durch Vibrationen oder durch den Absaugschlauch.Ich benutze es nicht mehr kostet nur Nerven.

Ich habe dieses Ersatzteil für meine Makita Stichsäge gekauft da ich das mitgelieferte Teil irgendwo hab liegen lassen. Sieht genauso aus wie das Originalteil und passt perfekt in die Halterung.
