Delta Faucet RP61357OB Diverter Tub Spout, Oil Bronze

I needed this. I have a Moen tub spout and wasn't sure if it would fit since this is a Delta (I'm not good with plumbing). Good news, it fit and screwed in fairly easily. Taking the old one off wasn't quite so easy as I wasn't sure how to do it. I inserted a screwdriver (as per the recommendation someone posted in youtube) into the spout and turned counter clockwise to remove old spout.

Replaced old spout,easy to install bit overpriced but bought an extra for the next time in 10 years I hope

Our 1/2 cooper pipe is 4inch 5/16 away from the wall. I tried the Danco brand (88052) tub spout from HomeDepot but it was a bit too short and left a big gap. This one fitted perfectly.

My old spout was showing lots of wear and the diverter became stuck and unusable. I went to the normal hardware stores and none of the spouts would fit properly, mostly leaving gaps. I think I went through 5 different ones before finding this one that fit perfectly. For the price, it is higher than the ones you find in hardware stores but it is well worth it considering it fit the best.

I didn't get a standard tub, it is deeper tub, and the spout just barely long enough to not spray water to the flat part of the tub. I am not sure if it is supposed to be a bit longer to be able to fit most tubs, but be aware if you are assembling it onto a slightly deeper (longer ledge as well) tub. Other than that it is a nice product

Update - after 3 years this started leaking like crazy. Looks like that's about the lifespan on these - after that it gets harder and harder to try to go from tub to shower and more and more gets wasted down the drain while showering.Because I knew it would fit and be a quick install and I knew it would fit without a bunch of trial and error I re-upped - but at the price being charged for the brushed nickel if I'd had more time I'd have shopped for something I'd hope would last longer. This product really isn't worthy of the Delta name or the price (for the non-chrome finishes) though.---It's amazing how buying the right item helps.I have a Pfister modern plumbing set in brushed nickel that went bad. This is a near perfect match.This has a front-positioned 1/2" IPS. So many are slip-on or in the rear I had a topic time replacing a faulty tub diverter that was set up this way.If you have a spout that is -threaded- at 1/2" IPS and you have a good amount of pipe coming out of the wall - 4"+ this is money.Ugh ugh ugh. This is nowhere near as well described or standardized as it should be.

Installed on sons tub. Wanted to change style and update. Worked great. Had to change hook up some, didn't hook up the same as old, but much better price than other options.

It didn’t work with the type of spout we have but product itself looked fine.

We replaced a tub spout with this one. It wasn't quite a long as indicated because the internal threads started a little further back than our original spout, so we had to get a longer pipe which took some time. However the rest of it worked very well, good durable materials, and nice look.

Just as described. Received and installed today. So far so good!

Works well, keep in mind it takes a male 1/2 inch connector on your faucet pipe in order to attach.

To thin walls /looks much cheaper then original Delta
