Good pineapple extract
Arrived with no leakage/spills. Concentration is high; can get overwhelming if too much is used. I haven't used this pineapple extract for baking yet, but I use it often for custom teas that need a little tropical flair. Super easy to use. Tastes and smells great. Color doesn't detract from my hibiscus-based blends. A little goes a long way; the duration of time it's taken me to use half the bottle is approximately six months. But, again, I use this pineapple extract sparingly. Would buy again.

🤩 Fantastic Flavor, Versatile, Great Bargain
Fantastic pineapple extract! Worked wonders in my no sugar keto carrot cake. A teaspoon paired with a tablespoon of molasses, it gave that full brown sugar taste without all the carbs! It is a great bargain for the high quality and volume you get. I highly recommend this product.

Olive Nation is the way to go.
I have and still buy from other vendors. However, Olive Nation has fine quality extract concentrates. I have not found their extracts to be of poor quality. Even thought they may be somewhat more expensive. I feel Olive Nation is worth buying. Of course I rate 5 stars.

Great flavoring
The alcohol smell was not present after cooking but is mildly there when first opened. Worked well in my keto baking when I made keto Hawaiian dinner rolls. Also great value for the price.

Delicious Pineapple Flavoring
Less is definitely more with this extract. I was nervous after smelling it, but a good shake and only a few drops later I had the flavored water I was hoping to recreate. Seriously, give the bottle a shake or two and it makes a difference. I can definitely see why some reviewers noted a strong alcohol or petroleum smell/taste - and if you smell/taste that it means you've used too much. I made this mistake and was disappointed at first. However, after reading a bit more about these extracts (and extracts in general), I gave it another go with a good shake and half of my original amount. Now I have the flavored water I wanted and don't have to pay through the roof!

This product was formerly called "Pure Pineapple Extract"
I have ordered Olive Nation pure pineapple extract in the past, and been happy with it. When I ordered it again, and received the product, it was labeled as "Pineapple Flavor Extract." I called the company, as I know that flavors and pure extracts are two different things. I was informed that an internal company review determined that the label should reflect the name of pineapple flavor extract, rather than pure pineapple extract, but that the company had not yet updated their Amazon page to reflect new images. In other words, if you ordered Olive Nation's pure pineapple extract in the past, and you were happy with it, you are getting the same exact product, just with a different name now. I hope this helps anyone who may have had the same questions that I did. As a general rule, I only use pure extracts. However, I have this product in the past and had good results, so I will continue to use it.

Tripled my water intake
UPDATE 10/25.2020- I'm pretty sure they changed the recipe. I gave it a few months and about a half dozen bottles over that time. This was my favorite but I no longer use it. The extract is thicker now and tastes sweet and artificial. I love this product. I get grumpy if I run out before my next pantry shipment. It all started about 18 months ago when I became addicted to Trader Joe’s sparkling pineapple water. I couldn’t stand all of the 1L plastic bottles I was going through (about 3-4/day). My husband bought me a soda stream to help cut back on my pineapple sparkling water habit, but I had a difficult time finding a flavoring that I wanted to add to the water. This extract did it for me. I’m not saying that it makes my homemade sparkling water taste like the Trader Joe’s version, it is definitely a different flavor., but it’s one that I love equally as much and what could be better than walking into the kitchen and making it whenever I want? My daily water intake has tripled because of this extract.

Tastes like chemicals
This product costs more to ship than the value of the item. It to took two weeks to arrive and when baking with it it has a very sharp chemical taste and aftertaste. It does not taste anywhere close to pineapple. I'd encourage you to look for another product.
