Exact replacement
We acquired a used Hobie Mirage Tandem the end of last year and stored it for the winter months. Went to use it for the first time this spring--- and families of ants decided to take residence in both of the seats. Tried to get rid of them, but they got inside and it was a mess. The only good part as you may say is that the original seats were worn and one seat bottom corner was completely unraveled/ torn, so not too upset about it overall.I looked online for replacement seats and had to determine which year the unit was-- turns out it is a 2014, so the newer style seat was what we needed. Took a week to receive, but they are correct and nice and shiny new! We will be removing them every time we use them so the ant thing does not happen again.

This is the ONLY seat that fits my Hobie Mirage Pedal Kayak! The universal seat does NOT work!
This is the only kayak seat that will fit my Hobie Mirage Kayak. It's just like the seat that came with the kayak when I bought it new.
