Bellissimo!
I bought two of these palette knifes and I love them! Mixing paint is as much as a part of the creative process as painting and having such a lovely palette knife is like having the perfect brush. It is indeed!I was using cheap craft store palette knifes and didn't think much of it until they scratched the heck outta my expensive glass palette. Once I got my hands on these, I immediately noticed the difference in mixing. These knifes have nice smooth edges that make it feel like you are moving butter around your palette. They are solidly built with beautiful wooden handles. I can see them lasting for many years. Also love the selection of sizes and shapes which is very important. Everyone has there preference and a few millimeter difference is huge. My only complaint is I wish the sizes were also in inches, it took me a while to translate the sizes so I knew which one I wanted, but it is what it is... they're from Italy!

Beautiful painting knife
I like how flexible it is and works great for oil paint or acrylic paints. Smooth and shiny and rustproof. The handle is wood and the ferrule is brass and the knife is stainless steel. I really live the shape but that's just my preference and it doesn't make the knife better or worse. We'll see how well the weld holds up. This is how my old knife died. The weld eventually just gave up and broke. It was not this brand (RGM). I'm hoping the quality of this knife is a little better. Time will tell. Don't hesitate to buy from this company. From my research it seems to be a very nice (higher quality) brand.

My favorite size for color mixing
I use this to mix oil paints and find this size and shape to be the most comfortable. Build quality looks great, we'll see how it stands the test of time.

Great painting knife!
This knife was recommended to me by Michele Byrne who is an outstanding plein air palette knife painter. She was right in recommending it. It is a terrific painting knife! The blade on the knife is very flexible and is easy to manipulate for painting or for mixing paints. I have a pretty good collection of palette knives and this is now my favorite. In addition to the flexibility, the finish on the blade is perfect. It is very easy to clean because of the smooth finish. Plus it just looks good. The shape and size are perfect for painting. This palette knife specifically, and RGM in general, are now my go-to palette knives!

Nice and flexible, great for painting but durability in question
Love this knife for painting but the coating did chip off after a few weeks.

Everything I want in a painting knife
I have been a knife painter for a long time and this is my first RGM knife. I treated myself to a RGM knife after I snapped a (marginally) cheaper knife in my friend's studio and hit him as the blade flew across the room. (He was fine and we both laughed.) After I started using this knife I decided to replace the other knives that I consistently use with RGM Plus knives. They are a good balance of firm and flexible without feeling like I am going to break the knife. I cannot recommend RGM knives enough.

Versatile, great quality
I have a number of painting knives, but this one is particularly sweet. Lightweight, and very springy blade which gives you fine control over tooling marks and small details. Very well made. I find the flat tip is much more useful than I had expected. If you do knife work, get this one! I use it exclusively with heavy body acrylics, but it is equally good for oil.
