Worth the money
I used this product for bleeding the brake system after a full brake job (new master cylinder, calipers, wheel cylinders, etc). I tried other traditional bleeding methods that were much more time consuming and less effective. I had the system bled in about 10 minutes with full pedal resistance and a fully functioning system. You can literally watch the air get sucked out of the lines with this tool. Very efficient

Very effective in pulling a vacuum on canning jars.
Our FoodSaver will not pull a vacuum using the FoodSaver Jar Sealer. Saw the idea on a YouTube channel of using the brake bleeder to pull a vacuum. Works great!!! You still need the regular and wide mouth jar sealer adapters. We dehydrate vegetables and fruits, vacuum sealing them in jars. Our experience sealing in bags was not the best.

Not for brakes....
The end caps provided for 2 different size brake bleeder screws didn't fit for my subaru. In fact I don't believe it would make an air tight connection with any brake bleeder screws. So I used a rubber piece that came with it for who knows what, cut off the circle around it and then I had at least something that resembled air tights and would hold a vacuum if I held everything by hand and held completely still. With all that I began the brake flush which successfully pulled a few inches of fluid out of the brake line but with air bubbles the whole time before running dry... so I grabbed my wife since I know did the opposite of a brake bleeder and created an air pocket in my brake line, certainly not going to work for a brake flush. I sat her in the car abandoned the vacuum pump and used the hose and an empty water bottle and began the brake flush the old fashioned way. Got all the air out of the line and all the old fluid out of the lines as well, but no thanks to this product. So if you're looking for some plastic hoses this is for you, but they don't fit on your brake bleeders and neither to the crappy quality caps that don't seat. I will.use this to empty my master cylinder next time since it's good for at least sucking fluid through it. But not for a brake job.

ABN Brake Bleeder Vacuum Pump for canning activities
This brake bleeder vacuum hand pump does not work. It looks well made but does not create suction. Maybe I just got a defective unit. They got my money and I have nothing to show for it. Just can't recommend this unit.

I bought this to vacuum seal canning jars...
It works, not super-consistently, but enough that I am keeping it. I have the jar sealers for my old Foodsaver by Tilia vacuum sealer. It stopped working, so I decided to try other brands, due to the cost of a foodsaver. Neither product worked at ALL to seal a jar. This product, with the Jar lid attachments that came with my old Foodsaver DOES work. Its a little intense to pump up to 15 lb for my old hand, although if I push the handle against the counter edge, its easier. It did not work with my oldest, thickest regular mouth antique jar, nor with some of the 'mayonnaise' type quart jars. It did work with one of the three mayo jars I tried, and weirdly enough, I was able to use a few of my USED Kerr brand lids with my mason jars, to effect a decent seal, so if you try this process with this product, and it does NOT work, grab a different jar, if that does not work, grab a different lid. I just vacuum-sealed coffee beans as an experiment so did not feel concerned with new vs used jar lids. I plugged my old Foodsaver tube into the tubing that came with this product, using its pointed brake-bleeder tip to plug into one end of my Foodsaver tubing with one tip removed, and the other tip that plugs into the Tilia lid-sealer remaining intact; that tip fits the lid sealer much better.

It looks a bad material…

Perfect for bleeding brakes
Used this today when I installed my rear calipers and it worked perfectly. It definitely won't suck the chrome off a trailer hitch but it worked awesome for bleeding brakes. I was a little hesitant after seeing so many bad reviews but glad I got it anyway!

Does the job
I read many of the negative reviews and bought this bleeder anyway. I also bought some surgical tubing to attach to the bleeder valve, which is exactly like the bleeder valve on an automobile, to the clutch slave on my Honda Gold Wing. The tubing made an airtight seal on the valve and I used one of various connectors provided with the bleeder to attach the surgical tubing to the clear tubing provided in the package. I pumped it up loosened the bleeder valve and all the air and any old fluid in the line was pumped out. This product worked as advertised and made the job of bleeding my rebuilt clutch slave a piece of cake. The product arrived in 1 day and I am glad I added this tool to my shop.

Vacuum sealing jars
You need strong hands to use it. I am using it to vacuum seal canning jars of dried goods for long term storage. Keeps food stored in them fresh

Works well and you won't need a helper
Good quality hand pump and well-priced. Would be nice to have slightly longer tubing but overall a good value.

Pump The Brakes
I bought this as a gift for someone who does canning. Apparently it works for that too.

Watch it on YouTube first before committing.
Great Quality for the price. Although wished it comes with a carrying case but I guess it wasn't included for the price point.
