Thermos Funtainer 12 Ounce Bottle, Doc McStuffins

This is a great water bottle. I have actually bought several of these in various designs and sizes and have loved each one. Here are some of the great features:1. It really does keep drinks cold for up to 12 hours. If you add a couple cubes of ice or if you very slightly wet the inside and put it in the freezer for 20 seconds before filling it the cold will last even longer. This is true even on hot days. It is amazing.2. The design is bright and high quality. The paint has not washed off after many washes. I do not put this in the dishwasher. I just wash it out by hand with little effort.3. The cup is built for easy cleaning. The top comes off, and the straw separates from the inside so that you can pull apart the top of the straw from the bottom for easy cleaning.4. Fits perfectly in standard cupholders. We can use it in all of our cars and the stroller with no problem.5. The button to open the bottle is easy for my 3 year old to use (she could use it at 1 and 2 as well), but it is spill proof. Lay it on its side, hold it upside down, throw it in the bottom of the stroller or a backpack never a drop escapes. You do have to be sure to tighten the top of course.6. Straw drinking rather than cup drinking has saved my child's clothing and my sanity :)

Thermos Funtainers work great and my little one loves the characters. I've never had a problem with leaking. My daughter can easily open and close the thermos. I love that I can toss it in the dishwasher. It definitely holds true to keeping cold for hours. I especially appreciate the hidden flip top carrying handle. It allows me to hold the thermos with my pinkie finger versus tying up a hand that I need to hold onto my little one or the million necessities we have to lug around. Since I'm not an octopus the handle is great for me to hold with a finger or for my toddler to hold onto with no problem. I wish my grown up thermos had a handle.I just wish they made them in bigger sizes. My little one has no problem finishing the 12 ounces when on the go and asks for more. I have the taller version, but they're always plain without the characters and that means my daughter doesn't want to use them. And I don't want to lug around two character themed thermoses (again, not an octopus).Other than that I love them.

My 2 yr old granddaughter loves this! She wants to use it all the time. Getting the straw clean is always a concern for me with these type of drink dispensers but this one comes apart and is easy to keep clean. Her mom likes that it can go in the dishwasher. I also like the fact that it is basically spillproof. It will drip only if you hold it completely upside down. I have an apartment with carpets and she can drink grape juice and chocolate milk in the living room now. She has dropped it but picks it up and leaks or spills have't been a problem. Her mom likes it for in the car. It was bought for her to take to grandma's house with her lunch box but she uses it all the time.

The first thermos I received leaked. We noticed that the silicone piece that connects to the straw was different from another funtainer previously purchased, but did not think anything of it since there were some other minor design differences between the two as well. The funtainer then leaked when used, and when we received the replacement, we saw that the insert should have been the same as for the previously purchased thermos. The correct insert should have a completely round disc that fits very tightly into the lid. The upraised piece that includes the part of the straw from which you drink should fit snugly into the hole in the lid, and rise above it by a bit. The defective insert has a small flat side cut off on the disc, that is, it's not perfectly round. The disc snaps into the lid, but is not what I would call a very tight fit. The upraised piece that has the straw attached is even with the lid, and does not rise above it to ensure a tight seal. I'm still giving it 5 stars because the thermos with the correct insert works well, and we received a replacement in 2 days.

we love these funtainers... but although the package was in good condition upon arrival, the funtainer itself had a scratch on doc mcstuffins face :(

I love this thermos! My daughter loves it even more! She wants all her drinks out of it and carries it everywhere. I only wish it held more fluids.. It keeps drinks cold for 12 hours but 12 oz of fluid certainly won't last 12 hours.. I love that it comes apart easily though the bent straw can be hard to clean. It looks great and feels durable. My 2 year old daughter has no problem pushing the button to open the lid and is able to close it as well (if she uses 2 hands). Very happy with the purchase.

So disappointed, the Thermos arrived with no straw!!!!!! My daughter was so sad, we got it for her, for her 1st day of school. As we live in ireland the shipping was the same price as the thermos so, so not worth price of returning :'(Also, having read other reviews a couple of comments mentioned a second straw included. I purchased 2 thermos' and 1 straw came in one and nothing in the doc mcstuffins one, where in fact we should of received 4.
