iPod Nano 7 Shocksock Reflective Sports Armband (Black)

I've gone through 4 iPods over the past 2 years alone... gotten cases and protectors, etc. but as a runner (8-11 mi/day), eventually the sweat damage causes the screen to either go unresponsive or unresponsive and black entirely (iPod data still recognized by iTunes, but can't do anything with it because the screen doesn't work- repairs costed more than buying a new iPod unless you get the insurance). I've gotten this armband and am happy with the fact that it completely protects the device from sweat and subsequent sweat damage. Hopefully I don't have to bleed more of my money into Apple with this and it'll serve as a permanent solution. It's unusual that this happens... a lot of these iPods are marketed for exercising and there are many devices out there that are water resistant... you'd think Apple, usually ahead of the curve, would have addressed this issue by now. If you exercise a lot and will be using this while working out, I highly recommend getting this product or something similar. Your bank account will thank you in the long run.

One reviewer said there's no hole for the headphone jack. I don't know if they reviewed the right item or if the item changed because there is a hole for that. The iPod Nano 7th generation fits perfectly. It's a snug fit, but not too tight (unless you're wearing it, which does make it tighter of course).It would be nicer if there was a hole for the side buttons to make it easier for me to adjust the volume. But overall, it works very well for the price.This fits me well, unlike a lot of arm bands, which are generally too large/loose. I don't have a "cloth" tape measure, so this might be slightly off, but based on the normal tape measure used for measuring rooms, I would say the part where I wear the arm band measures about 9 inches over a thin shirt. I use the slot that gives the tightest fit, but there's still about 1 inch of exposed velcro left to make it tighter.

I go the the gym about 3 times a week and just received the new ipod nano for my birthday, since the headphone jack was on different side my Nike armband would not work. Thought that this armband looked good and be able to operate the new Nano. It does function correctly and is easy to wear but it will not fit around my bicep. I am not overly big and I do know that i can buy an extension but this seems to be a bit small. It is comfortable when worn and also has a nice pocket to hold a small lock key as well as easy to fasten around arm. I just wish it had been made a little bigger, but not big problem I can wore it around by forearm and it feels okay, does get sweatty but all armbands do, nice to have a little reflector on it as well.

I use this when I go to the gym, it stays in place and does not slip. I only gave it 4 stars because I wish there was a way of washing it, it gets pretty stinky after sweating all over it after a few uses. I spray it with some Lysol but it would be nice if there it was made so that it could be thrown in the washing machine.

Is that it is virtually impossible to removed your Nano from the case once you put in there because the front screen sticks (not permananetly) to the plastic front of the armband. I have considered cutting strips of plastic out of the armband face to eliminate some of the "suction" of the two together. Haven't taken the time to do it. But overall, it's a great product. I actually use it at work so I'm not pulling my nano off the desk when I move around.

This fits well and comfortable. Able to use the touch screen without issue. Only thing I wish was different is a hole where the charger goes. There is a hole for the earbuds but not one for charging. Have to take it out to charge then put back in. I finally just cut a hole in the bottom so I didn't have to hassle with it.

Your typical armband case. The only thing I didn't not like about it was their is no hole to charge your iPod so I remedied that by cutting a small whole with a pair of scissors. This keeps me from having to take it out of the case to charge, minor compared to what you get which is a great armband.

i receive my arm guard about a week ago. I still haven't used it because since receiving it, there is a strong chemical odor permeating from it. The odor is so strong. It's been out of the package for a week and it's still really strong. Other than that is fits well and looks great. Just afraid to wear it.
