Keeps Inside of Truck Cooler - Allows for Ventilation
I've always put these on my vehicles. It just makes good sense. They keep the inside of the vehicle cooler in the sun and allows for adequate ventilation while driving in rainy weather. They are stylish and good looking. Installation is a bit time-consuming to get it right. The instructions are clear, and if properly followed, the end result is perfect.

I was happy when I received these, the back passenger alway “hit” when rolling up window! Well it finally fell out and we are trying to order just that single one, let you know how it goes!

So nice!
I have been wanting rain guards for a while and I finally decided to get the Goodyear brand ones. I am impressed! They were super easy to install! Now I don’t have rain flying in my car when the windows are down! Plus, they look amazing on my car!

A little time to prep, but worth it.
I took the time to clean all 4 windows on my truck, then did a preclean of all the channels on the windows. I followed it up using the included prep wipes. When installing the deflectors, I was worried that the seasonable lower temps in Maine would affect the ability for the glue to set properly however as I was sliding them in, they were already sticking into the channels.I left the windows closed for the 3 days as suggested and, on the 4th day opened and grabbed and tugged on the deflectors to see if they were in good, and they didn't even budge.I feel satisfied and do not think these will be coming out anytime soon on their own.

Doesn't fit
These are the correct part but they don't work. The issue is that the edge that goes in the window track is to thick and will keep the windows from going up. Just get the weather tech ones they work as they should.

Adhesive Not Great
Bought this about a year ago for 2011 Silverado crew cab LT, installed in Sept. when temps in VA are optimal. By Nov. one of the rear pieces had a gap where it was coming off or falling down. Now I understood the purpose off these metal clips better. They were just for the back windows, apparently without them, the visor will begin to sag & fall off. Since temps. were too cold at this point to do anything about, just hoped it would stay on & those clips would help keep it pushed up. Since no one was rolling down any back windows in the winter, it managed to stay on, however it is not a daily driver, doesnt leave the house much during the age of covid & when it does, doesn't go far or up to highway speeds. When spring came around, I kept hitting the wrong button to roll down my front windows & off it went, thankfully landing in a yellow striped median on a 4 lane rd. where I was able to cautious retrieve it. It was in 1 piece but permanently scuffed in 2 places. By spring the other side had started to separate so I went to take that side off as well, which practically fell off once I removed the clips. The problem seems to be that the adhesive is too thin for the back windows, like paper thin, I didn't think it was that great on initial install but gave it the benefit of doubt. My truck was used so possibly the owner before me had some other brand in, that made that channel bigger than factory but given that these came with clips that are supposed to support the vent shade from sliding down, I think the flaw is the adhesive & probably know since the clips are a must for my truck. The front pair is still holding up well, probably because part of it gets tucked into the window & is sturdier. Maybe the company would have sent me more adhesive strips or preferably new back deflectors but once I took them off, I had more important things to attend to in life & forgot about them over the spring & summer since my spouse primarily drives the truck. I think a thicker 3M outdoor tape will work better but haven't tried it yet. Even if it does work, 1 deflector will look bad since it is scuffed up which is super annoying to perfectionists, I may just not use them in the back, haven't decided yet. I feel the AVS brand vent shades is a lot better. Had some on my Grand Prix's & they lasted about a decade & were not in-channel & depended entirely on the 3M adhesive! I would advise Goodyear & anyone else to use a better adhesive strip if you think there is too big of a gap when doing the 'dry' install. The necessity of the clips is very telling about the known probability of the back deflectors flying off is all I'm saying, do take precaution.

Easy install
Easy install and look nice , just put them on ,now I just have to wait the 72 hours before rolling them down , never had the issues some people are saying about the windows not rolling up properly, gotta imagine they didn’t install them properly cause I never had that issue once , as for the adhesive I would have liked to have seen more on them but I didn’t have any issues with them sticking either , so far the adhesive is okay but if you keep having to take them off cause you didn’t install them right the first couple times I could see the glue wearing down and having an issue . As for the one review where someone is talking about the back window not rolling up unless you have someone pulling from the outside ,that doesn’t quite add up ? Why wouldn’t you have the door open pushing the button with one hand and pulling with the other hand to make sure there’s clearance? As it states in the instructions? Just thought I’d bring that one review to light so it doesn’t sway to many people from purchasing these , that doesn’t seem like the brightest person but I will update my review if I end up having problems with the adhesive after 72 hours
