Bought as a convenient way to play Nintendo Switch on other TVs around the house without having to move the dock around. I was this close >< to sending it back as it first appeared to be a dud - no output at all. PLEASE NOTE you have to have a Nintendo power cable plugged into the USB C socket of the adapter as well as the HDMI cable to the TV - it won't work with just Switch plugged to this and then single HDMI cable to TV.

Feels very premium for the price. If you are somebody like me who does not have an HDMI port on your laptop and does not have enough ports in general, you need this one. I like the fact that it's not too big and doesn't have too many ports which I won't use anyway. Also, it's the exact colour as my laptop which makes it aesthetically pleasant to look at.

I'm using this device with an LG G5 and it works perfectly without needing to set up or install anything, just plug it in to your phone's USB Type C port and attach an HDMI cable and USB controller there is also a Type C port for plugging in a compatible device or power cable.My one and only issue with this product is the short length and thickness of its cable which pulls on my phone but once you find a good position to use it in it's absolutely fine

I wanted this to allow charging my Samsung Note 9 ( via it's usb c passthrough port) while connecting to an external screen via the HDMI output.As soon as I tried viewing a movie via Netflix or Amazon Prime app. I received an error ( after about 10 seconds ) about data not available. try again later. When I simply replaced this adapter with another of similar capability, I had no problems warching movies on the external monitor.I cannot comment on any of the other ports, since it was not fit for my intended purpose and promptly returned it.

I bought this so I can connect an external display to my MacBook through HDMI.However I noticed my WiFi kept dropping when I connected the display.Saw a video on YouTube and the guy said use a tin foil on the wire part of the dongle which I found crazy.As I was pretty frustrated I tried that method and long and behold IT WORKED!!If you find yourself in this situation then I would recommend using foil on the wire part. Just like the image I’ve attached.

Works a treat for my MacBook Air, which has neither a SD card reader nor normal USB slot, so cannot any longer link my DSLR to remove photos! This adapter means I can link my camera directly to it again to upload images, and hopefully can also link other USB peripherals too...Certainly a cheaper option to the extortionate Apple USB-C card reader, and more useful as it can be used for more things!

Bought this for work, does the job, its essential when you need multiple monitors for work.
