Worked like magic, with a few tweaks.
My dog may only be 40 lbs, but she’s strong and not at all bothered by being choked by a normal collar. She was completely content to let me tug at her neck, even hold her off the ground by the collar. Which is not a great idea for her health. I consider myself pretty good at dog training, but I have been a complete failure at leash training. I read recently that the reason my other harnesses make pulling worse is that is just gives the dog more efficiency at pulling, and I needed to invest in a front clip harness. I picked one with high reviews, not really knowing the difference. Here’s my review on this one:Pros:-lovely color-elastic stretching at key points seemed to lesson the effort it took to pull her back-it worked. She stopped pulling in the first 7 minutes-able to fit a barrel chested but slim dog-once I strung the leash through the handle on the back, it stopped twisting on her front.Cons:-the elastic stretching does allow it to ride forward sometimes, but during our walk it didn’t seem to bother her.-my dog acted like I beat her (like she does when being put into all harnesses) until I got the leash out.-it took some time to find the right fit, for her, the key was letting out around the neck, so the back part could be cinched tighter where she is thinner. This also meant that it twisted a little as she pulled, until I realized I could feed the leash through the back handle and it wouldn’t pull the harness as crooked. This is definitely how I’ll harness her from now on.-the security locks (red buttons) on the plastic clips are something I can’t find the purpose of. They make it so you can unclasp the harness, but they don’t serve a useful function for me.

Ripped!
The harness is attractive, and it’s easy to use. I love the bright green! I purchased this for my 6 month old Great Pyrenees. He’s a pretty laid back dog, so he doesn’t really pull much. It looks like poor stitching that caused it to fall apart. I’m just outside of the return window, so I am taking a loss on it. Beware of buying this for your dog!

Really sturdy and highly reflective!
MY DOG AND SIZING:I got my puppy suddenly and just bought him a cheap harness at first until I had time to research them and get him a better one. I ended up settling on this as the better one. He is a beagle mix, about 12-14 weeks old, and under 20 lbs. The small fits him well on a tight setting with plenty of room to grow! He might need the medium by the time he is an adult, but the small might work for that as well. It seems a bit too long for him, but I think he will grow into it nicely.COLOR AND SAFETY:I was a little bummed that the orange harness in the picture looks like a beautiful rusty fall color but in reality it is more of a neon/construction/safety cone orange. Though neon is better for visibility so I guess that's good. Speaking of visibility, the reflective piping on this really works well! I included two pictures I took of him at night in a dark room with the flash on, so I don't think anyone will have a hard time seeing him in their headlights at night.COMFORT AND DURABILITY:The fabric is very stiff and thick, which seems to really aid in the durability department. I've also already had to use the handle several times to pick him up suddenly when he is eating something off the sidewalk that he shouldn't be, like for example, a full cigarette >.< I wouldn't recommend picking them up by the handle unless it is an emergency, but it does help when puppies are getting into something dangerous or if you have a big dog that is jumping or lunging. However, the super thick fabric isn't very breathable and doesn't seem super comfortable. He hasn't fought it or tried to get it off, even when sleeping, so I guess it doesn't bother him too much. Though, he can't scratch himself through it. The fabric is so thick and well distributed that if I need to give him a little tug, hold him back, or direct him on the leash, I don't feel like I'm hurting him but with the old harness that was questionable. One of the reasons I bought this is because it is padded under his arm pits while most other harnesses are just a thin strap that digs in and chafes if they are still leash training. Since he is a scent dog, leash training is going to take a while and I need to keep him on a short, high leash so he doesn't try to clothesline himself. I feel like he is much safer and more comfortable in a harness like this. It also straps in easily to car seats and I feel like the thick padded vest will help distribute the shock should we get into a car accident and should keep his bones and joints safer than a thin harness or flat neck collar. There are two very heavy duty metal rings, 1 on the back and 1 on the chest, and I feel confident that my leash would give out before the rings do. The buckles also seem heavy duty (plastic, not metal) and they are a bit bulky, which seems uncomfortable, but again he doesn't seem to mind them.EASE OF USE:You do have to go over their face and head with this one, which he doesn't mind but some dogs might. It is also a HUGE PAIN to adjust the size of the straps, especially since it kind of needs to be adjusted with him in it and he is a squirmy hyper puppy. It took fiddling with it a couple times over 2 days before it fit him well, but it was worth it because unlike other harnesses, his wiggling and movement doesn't loosen the straps so I know he won't be able to wiggle his way out of it.The old harness had straps that could hang down after adjusting which he would chew on but with these the straps don't dangle, even though it is practically on the tightest setting.SHOULD YOU BUY IT?:I can't speak directly for large dogs who might jump, lunge, or pull but if the quality and durability is the same throughout the sizes, I think this is one of the best harnesses you could buy for under $65. I had a Boxer/Pit/German Sheppard mix before and I think this would do nicely for a dog like that as well. I also really like the handle but wish it was oriented running the length of the spine and not horizontally. If you're worried about nighttime safety, I would also really recommend this!If you are looking for something very comfortable for a lazy lapdog or a toy breed who doesn't need much leash training, then this harness is probably way overkill. I would look for something much lighter, more breathable, and easy to get on and off. But if you have a big dog, a hyper puppy, are hiking or doing other outdoor activities a lot, need help with leash training, need to pull them by the handle, etc. then this is the best affordable harness I've come by!

Saluki mixes and or gray hound body types.
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. I got this for my Saluki mix. Her body is very long and slender. First off I love the god reflective lines on it for safety. I was a little nervous about what size to get her. She was sort of in the middle of Medium and Large. Her chest was in the middle of the large and medium and her neck was in the medium size range. I ordered the large. It fits her nicely. I think I might have to tighten the straps up more, but was a little nervous that it was uncomfortable for her, but I was wrong, because she slept in it after our walk. I used both the front and back ring. The like the back ring best because she does like to nose through the leaves and the front ring stops her from exploring and turns her body back towards me which does stop a dog from pulling. I really don’t have a huge pulling problem with her though. Anyway, if you have a gray hound body style dog, go with the chest size range more than the neck. I hope this helps.

Worth it! Quality Harness
Ordered a Small for my 15lb Mini Schnauzer. Really impressed with the feel and look of this harness compared to others. It is sturdy and well made. Looks good on my dog. Love that it is very reflective since we walk at night. The only thing that is a little bit of a pain is I wish it had the release clips on the upper half of the harness that goes around the neck. I have to loosen the top part to put on my dog then once its on tighten it again so it doesn't move around too much while we walk. As far as "No Pull" it does help with him not choking himself and pulling it throws him off and he slows down. Handle on top is a plus which helps me control him when walking by other dogs or people since he does like to lunge out at times.

ACHTUNG: Für große, schwere Hunde absolut ungeeignet, nach 3 Tagen gerissen! Achtung NACHTRAG!

ThinkPet No Pull Hundegeschirr
Bin begeistert.Lg

Don't be fooled by the chest measurements - neck size might be too large on barrelled chested dogs
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. I like this harness however the neck part doesn't do up tight enough for my dachshund so cannot use the front clip feature as she can pull her leg out despite it being at its max tightness. It's a shame as it's a fantastic harness and sturdy and I love the lock features. It's a bit of a pain having to adjust the neck straps to get it over her head each time, especially with a dog who hates things going over her head. However, I've had this harness just 2 weeks and it instantly stopped her constant pulling and now walks slack leaded!

My dog no longer walks me!
I had my doubts over the “no pull” claims of this harness. I’ve tried a couple of different no pull harnesses on our excitable and very energetic sprollie over the last 18 months but after reading the other reviews I thought we would try one last time. Oh my word, worth every penny. He’s gone from walking me, yanking my arm off along the way to my 7 year old being able to safely hold his lead in a week. I’m no longer jealous of those well behaved dogs walking so nicely alongside their people.

Perfect for strong dogs
I have a large, strong dog of mixed Guard breeds, this harness fits her well as she has a deep chest for her size. The hoop in the front is a life saver! If she's excitable and pulling a lot clipping the lead to the chest hoop redistributes all her strength and she's so easy to control. The hoop on the back is great for strapping her into the car and it must be comfortable as she'll happily lay down in the harness and go to sleep.Easily adjustable, clips lock in place if you need to, both hoops are sturdy and we've had no incidents of wiggling free and no breakages, the reflective strips are brilliant on winter walks. This is the THIRD time we've bought this harness due to some naughty chewing incidents so can confirm that the red, orange and purple colours are all fab - I would definitely recommend buying it (and storing it out of reach!)
