It get’s the job done fast. Easy to use and I was able to repair 7 Ethernet cords. Replacing for new 50ft or 100ft cords can get expensive, and it’s worth keeping your current cords as long as you can.

What a great idea for the tabs that break, who wants to replace the head and get the wires messed up. This fits well and works great

This handy clip saved me from having to re-run a new 25' ethernet cable through the wall. The old ethernet cable's locking tab was broken, and I was forced to rig it the interface with some electrical tape to keep the end from falling out.This clip slides over the end of the ethernet cable and is positioned (clamped) on the area behind the interface (wire connector). I did need to trim off some of the old broken tab, but a simple diagonal cutter cleaned it up just fine. I shared some of these clips with our kids since they also had some broken ethernet clips as well. All went well. These clips were a simple install and made it much, much easier than having to replace difficult ethernet installations!

I work a lot with CAT cables and I often find the tabs broken on the RJ-45 connectors. I used to have to either throw them away, spend time re-terminating them, and/or having to re-run a new cable. A Must Have for Anyone working and reworking with RJ45 Cabling!At last ... an elegantly Simple Stable Fix for a common, vexing problem! Better than any jury-rigged kluge fixes involving tape, etc. Just snap it in as per the instructions, and the broken tabbed RJ45 plug is FIXED and can be unplugged and securely re-plugged again.

Very cheap, thin, and brittle plastic. Only fit one of 5 cables I tried it on. Threw package in trash where it belongs.
