Fun gift for someone or tasty treat for yourself!
Got this for my mom for Christmas and she was so surprised with how many childhood candies she got inside. It’s a fun gift or treat for yourself! Lots of good variety! They fit a lot in there and it’s a great price for the amount you get. Everything was package well and nothing was stale.

Perfect selection for an 80th birthday
These vintage candies were perfect for my friends’ 80th birthday party. We use them as conversation pieces on the tables and next to each place setting.. It did spark conversation and memories. We also used it for a little “reward“ for the game we played. The boxing was outstanding. It was So cute that I placed it on one of the tables to add to the theme. There was a nice selection of candy and it was all fresh. While it was pricey it added so much to our party that it was worth it!

fun nostalgic treat
I bought this on a whim for myself. It is a bit expensive, but I guesstimated the cost of each item except for the single hard candies, and I believe the price is worth it. As a young child in the late 1970s, this box brought back so many memories, and I can say most of the selections in my box remind me of that time period. Some of the items I got had been around longer, but were still popular in the '70s, or were considered old fashioned candies that remain ever-popular. Some of the candy did come in flavors that were not available in or before the 1970s, most likely due to newer flavors replacing older discontinued ones. I just got my box today, but I have already opened and sampled most of the items, especially ones I really liked as a child, and the few I was unfamiliar with. I am looking forward to digging into my box over the next few weeks. I liked everything except the candy lipstick and the candy cigarettes. In my box, I received the following: 1970s items: 1 pack Big Red gum 1 pack Bubblicious gum 1 pack Bubble Yum gum 1 Blow Pop sucker 1 tube Bottle Cap candy 1 Fun Dip pouch 1 pouch Gold Mine Nugget gum 2 fun size Laffy Taffy 1 Munch Peanut Bar 1 Pop Rocks candy 1 bag Razzles gum 1 Ring Pop 1 bag Sour Patch Kids All of these came out in the 1970s, some I remembered, others I looked up. The name Sour Patch Kids is fromthe 1980s, but the candy was sold in the '70s under a different name. Older items: 1 strip Candy Buttons 1 box Candy Cigarettes 2 Chupa Chup suckers 1 Dip Dab 1 box Everlasting Gobstopper jawbreakers 1 pack Jelly Belly Sours jelly beans 1 Love Hearts Lipstick 1 pack Mike and Ike Tropical Typhoon 1 pack Nik L Nip wax bottle candy 1 old-fashioned Stick Candy in clove 1 pack Red Hots 1 bag Red Vines 1 Rock Candy On A Stick 1 Smarties Candy Necklace 2 rolls Smarties candy 2 rolls Sweetarts candy 2 single Twizzlers 4 Zots in orange Most of these I remember eating or being available in the 1970s, although they have been around longer than that. The Chupa Chup suckers and the Dip Dab were new to me, but now I need to find out where to buy British Dip Dab because it is way better than Fun Dip. The candy lipstick is not the brand I had as a child and didn't taste as good as I remembered. I didnt like the taste of candy cigarrettes as a child, but I gave them a try and they still taste nasty, and they didn't even give a puff of powdered sugar "smoke" either. I didn't hear about Jelly Belly brand candy until the 1980s, but I looked them up, and they have been around a long time. I also had a handful of assorted individually wrapped hard candies which I just considered a bonus. They included lemonheads, jawbusters, hard peanut candies, rootbeer barrels, butterscotch, ginger hard candies, sixlets, frooties, strawberry hard candies, and about 10 more unmarked hard candies I cannot identify.

This is the BEST vintage retro 1970's candy I have ever bought!
There are so many things I love about this vintage retro candy. The box has a very retro vibe and takes you back to the 1970's. The little sleeve around the box is very decorative and cute. I was so excited to open it and find a wide selection of 70's candy. Some of them I haven't seen in a long time. I have ordered from other vintage candy companies but none compares to this company. This box of candy made me so happy. I think it would be a perfect gift for friends, relatives, birthdays, anniversaries, graduations and also for "I'm Sorry" gifts. You can never go wrong with a gift like this! Thank you seller!

Odd flavors and variety of candy doesn’t match the 90’s.
This is a very expensive candy box. Although some items definitely represent the 90’s, most does not. Flavors were mostly sour items and many items were sour apple/apple. Winter fresh gum was a part of the box, unsure why it was included. The sour hard candy was melted or expired. The presentation was excellent, but I was very disappointed with the items within the box. The price just does not match the items in the box. On a positive note: the warhead spray definitely matched the era and was a hit. Gummy candy was soft and fresh. Baby bottle pop and push pop definitely were bonuses to the box. Sour punch straws worked with the era, but again the flavors were odd.

Fun and Perfect Gift!
I bought this box for my husband's 32nd birthday! He always talks about how he misses the things that he grew up with back in the 90's. I just started to look for a themed gift but I wasn't entirely sure what I was looking for. At least until I found this! I went back and forth on buying it but now I'm very glad that I did! He absolutely loved it! The first thing he did was take out the war heads spray and sprayed some into his mouth. A lot of the items are sour which I remember being common back when we were both kids. His family was also surprised at the gift and very impressed! My father in law is likely going to buy one of the boxes for a Christmas gift. It was certainly a hit!

Holiday without my Mom
My parents were married for 59 years. They grew up together since grade school. My momma passed away in October. I knew the holidays were going to be so difficult for Dad and I searched for the perfect gift. And I do believe I found it. A box of 1940’s candy (because mom and dad were both born in the early 40’s and my momma loved sweets). When he opened the box, his eyes lit a bit different. He picked up each piece of candy and gave us a story of it from his childhood. How they would walk down the street with a candy cigar in their mouths when they were 8 yrs old thinking people would think it was real. How they would hand out the sugar sticks around their camp fire as they planned what games they would play. How his dad gave a Payday to his mom on their first date. How Zero bar was Mom’s favorite ( mine too) and he gave her one every year on her birthday. How the coconut bar was called war candy. How they would get a bag of tootsie rolls for 5 cents at Old man Whittaker’s store. There were so many wonderful stories and it was so amazing watching him release his grief for a short time as he stepped into the past and remembered the good ole days. A gift well worth the love…
