One-Step Instant Push Up Hexagon Beach Tent (Tall)

The things I was looking for were:- Easy up and down- Windows for ventilation- Spacious while up- Compact when folded for storingI didn't think I could get all of what I wanted because you usually have to sacrifice something but this tent has it all! Works great! Easy up and down. I can't take even five minutes to put a tent up when I have a toddler running around at the beach. This tent takes about 1 minute. The first few times my husband had to do it. It was a little tight but now I can do it. Same with folding down. Very easy. This tent is also very spacious when up and folds down nice and compact. It comes with a carrying bag which my husband said to throw away because I'd never get it back in there. To his (and mine actually) surprise, he was wrong it goes back in no problem. We've used it at the beach a few times, the park, out by the pool for a little shade, I take it over to my sister's so that my little one can play outside without being in the sun. We are always in the backyard over there and this is great to have. He doesn't get all dirty and I don't have to hold him all the time. He can play in the tent and be near the other kids. I have definitely gotten my money's worth out of this tent. I highly recommend this tent.

First of all I must congratulate amazon on their speedy delivery and customer service surrounding this item. The first one we received had a small tear in it, it was replaced within two days with no hassle at all. On to the product! All around a great product, we used it on a very windy beach and the sand pockets combined with the pegs and the ability to open the sides and back meant that although there was some flexing ( to be expected) you never worried about the tent morphing into a kite!The negatives I would say are limited, I would suggest a slightly more robust material and bigger side and back openings. The positives were I managed to have it checked at the gate when flying with no problem ( remove the pegs from the bag first) very lightweight, exceptionally easy to erect ( like putting up an umbrella) and easy to take down. Good size for two adults and a child plus "beach stuff" with out the claustrophobia of some beach tents.All in all really liked the product!

The hub of the tent is made of a brittle plastic. One arm broke at the hinge of the hub after the 3rd time the tent was setup leaving it useless. While I was extremely happy with how the tent was preforming at the beach protecting our infant, I expected a more durable product. The product was never stressed as we had minimal wind while at the beach.Pros: Tall compared to other products, setup and take down was easy, seemed stable at beach staked downCon: mechanics lead to stress of brittle plastic

This is a fantastic tent. I have used it by the lakes of Minnesota and the costal beaches. It goes up very easily (even in a heavy beach wind -if you put your back to the wind and open the tent away from you). Always put it away with the windows unzipped. This makes opening in wind much easier. On a sandy beach fill the pouches up with sand (on the sides and back) and it will stay put. I have used it heavily all season (and on vacation) seams, stays, and zippers are all working well. This tent protects from the sun, light rain, and wind very well. The people around me who watch me open it are amazed at how fast and easy it opens. The last point, the carrying bag is large enough to be able to stuff the tent in even when it is poorly packed. I have never zipped up the main flap and probably never will.Pros: Opens easily Pockets for sand as weight to hold down Big bag, easy to get the tent back in. Protects wellCons: if all of the windows are zipped shut, and the front is open, it can become a kite in a high wind.

Good tent while it lasted. We used it while fishing a few times and one day we had a strong gust of wind and pop. One of the top bracket hooks broke. Looking for another and while this one served us well I will look for something more sturdier.

This item is quick and easy to set up. The only problem is the quality of the material. The wall of my tent broke the first time out. I tried contacting the manufacturer for a warranty but is been a week with not response from them. Buy this item only if you are ok with substandard quality and customer service.

We've had one of those older style beach tents (where you have to put the poles together and feed them through the pockets) for quite awhile now, and it was starting to fall apart. I decided to give this a try to replace the old one, and it is so much easier. There is no assembly required at all. Just open it up, fold it out and make the connection on top. I tried doing it myself, and it does take quite a bit of force to get the 2 pieces to connect, so I couldn't do it at first. Instead, I flipped the hole thing upside down and was able to push down on it to make the connection, quite easily. One connection is all it takes. It seems sturdier than my old tent, and I like that it has 3 windows for good air circulation (my old one only had 2). It helps to let air through on windy days too, to avoid it blowing away. Also LOVE the sand/weight pockets to keep it down. Such a great idea. I used to have to search for big rocks to hold down the corners of my old one (the stakes never stayed firm enough in the sand, and the loops eventually broke anyway), and quickly fill it with our stuff to keep it in place. No more with this one. Also love the zip up front. My old one didn't have that either, and while we were able to do quick changes with the kids, with some fancy maneuvering, this now gives you full privacy. It's a great size (tall and wide), and I highly recommend this model over the other versions.
