Works great.
I used this in an automatically filling water bowl project, I used it to break and connect a circuit to a solenoid valve that would top up the water level once it was low. It works great. There has only been one time after I messed with something where the float got stuck and the valve stayed open causing the bowl to overflow but I'm blaming that on myself. This can be used for a filling or draining depending on which way up you install the float switch.

Float switch
Worked well initially, then intermittently, finally failed in the on position leading to a flat battery and then flooding. Not reccomended for a bilge water detector.

Very poor performance
The switch operated successfully maybe 10 or 12 times only over the course of 5 days then failed to a full short circuit; the performance was substandard to say the very least.
