THESE PENS ARE EXCELLENT. YOU GET SO MANY PENS OF DIFFERENT SIZES FOR SUCH A REASONABLE PRICE. THE PENS ARE EXCELLENT FOR CALLIGRAPHY, ZENTANGLE AND JUST DOODLING OR WRITING. I HAVE PURCHASED SO MANY DIFFERENT PENS FOR MY ART, USUALLY THE SAKURA PIGMA MICRON PENS, BUT I WILL NOT BOTHER WITH THE EXPENSE OF THOSE ANYMORE. THESE ARE MY NEW FAVORITE. I HAVE ALREADY PURCHASED THREE SETS OF THEM. WHEN I FIND SOMETHING I LOVE I'M ALWAYS AFRAID THEY WILL DISAPPEAR AND I WON'T BE ABLE TO FIND THEM ANYORE.SO I BOUGHT SOME BACK UPS. This is a surprisingly good set and a real bargain. The pens are good quality and handle well. The tracing tablet is quite helpful. There are enough of a variety of supplies that it is fun to use. I do wish it had a chisel tip or two amongst the marker set, but overall I am very happy with this purchase. Excellent for beginners or just for fun.

Pens are great not just for calligraphy but also for drawing. Not sure how long they last yet, but the price is reasonable. 2 brush like pens and I wish there were more. Only complaint about them. I do recommend this product

As a beginning calligrapher, this set of pens are perfect to give me a wide arrangement of the various writing styles I can use for journaling and creating personal event cards. I would buys this set again.

The tracing paper pad and a couple of template cards for practice are also valuable additions that enhance the overall experience. 👎🏼🅒🅞🅝🅢 However, I found the stencils to be less effective for the learning process. While I understand their purpose—perhaps to highlight the thickness of downstrokes—they were very excessive & not at all practical. The lack of connection between the flourishes and swashes can make it challenging to visualize how to form the letters when transitioning to freehand practice. This may be confusing for users who are just starting and may not yet differentiate between ascending and descending strokes. In the images I've provided, looking at the top portion, you can see how the letters appear 𝑫𝑼𝑹𝑰𝑵𝑮 stenciling as well as 𝑨𝑭𝑻𝑬𝑹 stencil is removed. Clearly highlighting some inconsistencies. Another concern I encountered was with one of the L brush pens, which ran dry almost immediately during my 𝐟𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭 𝐮𝐬𝐞 (bottom portion "A"). I've documented this in a video, me tracing the bottom portion "A" with the stencil, visibly showcasing the flaw in both the letters & the brush pen. 𝐇𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫, for whatever weird reason, I would encounter an error every single time I tried uploading it to my post. The message would read "Sorry! There was a problem. Please try again later." After multiple failed attempts, I gave up *𝐼 𝑑𝑜 𝑠𝑡𝑖𝑙𝑙 ℎ𝑎𝑣𝑒 𝑖𝑡 𝑠𝑎𝑣𝑒𝑑 𝑡ℎ𝑜𝑢𝑔ℎ, 𝑖𝑛 𝑐𝑎𝑠𝑒 𝑛𝑒𝑒𝑑𝑒𝑑* It's worth noting that the inking quality seems to impact letter formation; in the bottom "A," for instance, the lack of functionality is evident. Lastly, I noticed that some elements lacked cohesion in terms of letter flow and connections. In the final image of the template card, you can clearly see bits within the phrase/quotes where lines (or connection) are missing. This could lead to confusion or frustration during lettering practice and may hinder proper technique development. 🤲🏼 🅒🅞🅝🅒🅛🅤🅢🅘🅞🅝 Overall, while there are some great components in this kit, refining the stencils and ensuring ink consistency would significantly enhance the user experience, particularly for beginners.

A good purchase as a gift for the artist in your family. The recipient enjoyed receiving these.

Leider schreiben 3 von 16 Stiften nicht. Einige weitere schreiben nur unzureichend. Die restlichen, vor allem die ganz dünnen Stifte sind in Ordnung und haben tolle feine Schriftbilder.
