We’ve been using this for three months now. It’s easy to open, takes standard sized tablets and has been important in the upkeep of our spa. We have a larger spa but it keeps up with it just fine. Floats low enough that it doesn’t get caught in the lid, when in place.

I have to admit that it is different looking than any other dispenser we have owned, but it definitely is a lot better made than any other dispenser. I was impressed with the quality. As far as we are concerned it works well and should last longer because of the thicker material it is made from.

So far so good like all the adjustment

I like this much more than the shorter stouter cheaper floating dispensers that abound on Amazon, because it is much better engineered, sturdier and a few inches taller, so that it doesn’t float into the water intake at the filter basket of my 250 gallon spa, unlike the cheaper units invariably do, and this unit avoids getting stuck like in the rushing stream of pump intake water which causes the smaller cheaper units consume and dispense the chlorine tablets too quickly. It also has a much better adjustment mechanism to regulate the rate of chlorine dispensation than the cheaper ones do. You can insert as few as one tablet and adjust it to release at any rate a between no chlorine, dispensation, all the way up to quickly dispensing of several tablets at once, and anything in between. In other words you can get the adjustment just right for your spa. And being able to adjust the dispensation amount to a low volume makes it compatible with using IonRx copper-solution based (i.e. non-chlorine non-bromide) sanitizer, also on Amazon, which I successfully use to get away with much lower chlorine leveles to avoid chlorine irritating the skin, air passages and eyes, and recommend looking into that or any copper solution based water protector. This device has a threaded twist-on cap on the bottom, which is easy to use, as opposed to the top cap of the cheaper units whose lid tabs are hard to line-up with internal notches making them hard to secure the cap onto. Further, it was the ultimate failure of the cap notches in the smaller cheaper plastic unit I had that caused me to look for (and find) this better solution to the problem.

Delivered as promised. Product seems sturdy and well built. I had a similar one that only held 7 tabs - this will take ten even on a low-delivery setting. Looking forward to years of use.

I got this float that holds chlorine tablets for my hot tub being I have teenagers who are not the best at keeping up on adding chlorine .. it has been a lifesaver and makes it easier to be on top of the maintenance.

It's exactly what I wanted.

Is perfect for keeping the spa chlorinated at the correct level and not needing to be messing with every day. Had to guess a bit to get the correct setting, but works great.
