Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  This is a great little sleeping pad for camping. I tried to manually pump it and it takes about 1 minute to fully pump (see video). It is almost unnecessarily long (for me anyway) but if you are tall it would not be a problem. It's very VERY light and compact when folded. The sleeping pad itself seems comfortable right after inflate. When I sleep on it I do not feel the floor at all. But if I sit on it my butt is touching the ground because it is very thin. I have not tested on uneven ground or overnight yet. Overall I would recommend it for camping for sure!

The camping sleeping pad is light weight took under 2 minutes to pump by hand. Easy instructions by words and pictures. I like how light weight the pad is very easy to carry. It is only big enough for one person, when I laid on it I was worried at first that it wasn’t going to hold my weight (125lbs) but once I laid down the airlifted me and it was very comfortable. I had my son try it out (160 lbs) and he found it comfortable also. But a larger person (over 160lbs) found it uncomfortable, they felt like they were laying on the ground.

I really want expecting the pad to be as big as it was. It filled up in minutes and I know it says it's a hand pump but I used my foot it was faster. It filled in about a minute and is pretty big and really comfortable I would highly recommend especially if u do a lot of hiking or camping outside. The pillow is build into the pad and blows up with it and is also comfortable. Another great thing is that the pad folds back up and actually fits bag into the bat which is fantastic.

I was a little disappointed in the "Built-in Pump". I assumed it would be self-inflating, but it's actually like pumping up the old Reebok shoes. However, it only takes about 10 minutes. And the built-in pillow is really nice.UPDATE: I received a card in the mail telling me I could get a $15 Amazon gift card if I'd review this item, so I did. A few days later I got an email asking me what they could do to get me to upgrade to a 5 star rating. I didn't reply. I don't like being bulldozed. And of course I didn't get the gift card. Beware.

Things to know:- I weigh about 230 pounds- I sleep on my side- I wrote this review objectively, but I did receive a $10 gift card for sharing my thoughts on the sleeping pad.I bought this sleeping pad because I often stay with friends when I’m out of town. If there aren’t enough beds, we use air mattresses. I wanted to buy my own little mat that’s easy to set up and store, so I bought this one.I used it for the first time this weekend at an aquarium sleepover. The floor in the aquarium was made with this super flat carpet (the kind that’s super flat and best for wheelchairs to roll over). It took about a minute and a half to fully inflate it. You can press the pump with your hand or your foot. I prefer using my hand.Like I said before, I am a side-sleeper. I was fine sleeping on this. I didn’t feel the floor at all. Also, the pad didn’t lose any air the entire night.My only complaints about it are that the built-in pillow was kind of uncomfortable and the material that it’s made of is kind of noisy when you move around (it kind of reminds you of those jogging pants we used to wear as kids--the ones that make you go down the slide super fast). I tend to move around often, so it’d be nice if the pad was made of material that wasn’t so loud.As for the pillow issue, it almost felt like I inflated the pad too much, which made the pillow super firm. Next time, I’m going to try putting a regular pillow over it.Putting the mat away was easy as well. Just open the valves and let the air come out on its own, flatten it yourself, or let the air come out as you fold it. It’s easy to get it back into the bag and I love how small it gets. I’m able to keep the mat and a blanket in my trunk without taking up too much space.I love that this pad has a built-in pump. That’s what initially drew me to it. It’s nice to be able to blow it up without using a noisy, electric pump (or being out of breath). The built-in pillow is a nice touch too!

I brought 2. The product is easy to inflate and light weight. As long as it does not leak air, it is comfortable. Unfortunately one of mine started to leak air after a few uses. Unable to find the leak and passed the retuned date.

This sleeping mat is fun and very comfortable, and it's great for kids. My daughter loves it for sleepovers, forts, and we're looking forward to trying it in the wild on a camping trip. Inflating takes about 3-4 minutes of aggressive pumping, but it's a clever and effective way of blowing up the mat without putting your mouth on a gross valve and making yourself dizzy. Overall very well made, appears to be durable, and a great product overall.

FULL DISCLOSURE - I was reimbursed the purchase price for a fair and honest review.My last experience with an air mattress was years ago. It was a series of 6-8 long tubes about 3" in diameter that ran the length of the mattress. It was very "bouncy" and required a separate air pump. This sleeping pad is a modern iteration with a built in air pump. Dozens of air coils, looking like a honeycomb, make up the mattress and a formed pillow is built into the top end. Laying on the mattress is very comfortable and you feel well supported. The mattress is 1.5-2" thick and if you kneel on it or sit on it you will bottom out. However when used for its intended purpose, reclining, it serves its purpose. I would think that this would work well with a sleeping bag when camping. It is very light, has a built in pump, and rolls up into a small pull-string bag which is included. I keep referring to it as a mattress but its intended use is as a sleeping pad for camping or hiking. In that respect it excels in its purpose.
