Probably one the best purchases I've ever made. I HATE my cats getting up on my counters and tables. They don't when I'm home because I have a spray bottle at the ready and will spray them until they get down. But I recently got indoor security cameras and have captured them getting up on things they shouldn't numerous times while I'm gone. (Luckily I already clean them a lot) I've had these a few days now and they havent even tried. I have a hook between the fridge and wall where I hang them when I need those surfaces. I just cut one to length to sit on my piano too because I don't want them on there either. I'm so glad I stumbled on these! I'm absolutely going to get more.

We glove this pup that loves to run through my flower beds when playing tag with his buddy. I’ve lost so many plants!! So I laid this down in between my flowers to try it out. A couple this. 1- it’s stands out and looks bad since it’s black. But then I discovered you can throw a light layer of dirt over it. It covers the black but the spikes are there. 2- the spikes are flexible plastic. I don’t see them going for blood. It’s more of a - I stepped on a lego piece- feel. She now just leaps over the flower bed. 3- bonus perk. Every morning there are a couple snails caught in the spikes that couldn’t figure out how to get out.

This product works great to keep the cats off of our kitchen cabinets. It's easy to.roll out and can be cut to size with scissors. Only down side is that it keeps curling back up. We left it out in the sun a few days to try to get it to lay flat but even then it still curls up some and looks bad on top of our cabinets

We have a little kitten who likes to get into the pots of our houseplants and play with the soil/dig/make a mess. This scat mat works great for us! She plays with the scat mat from outside the pot by touching it with her little paws (which is totally fine) but doesn't get into the plants anymore. But it only works for us on soil - it didn't work on furniture with some electronics on it that she likes to run around on. She presses buttons etc while she's exploring, so it's not ideal that she gets up there (she's allowed to explore and climb literally everywhere else and has a cat tree and all kinds of awesome kitty stuff, but no, she has to get into the electronics and the plants). Anyway, the scat mat didn't work there because she can just walk on it very carefully and still press stuff unlike in soil.

Cats think this is a joke. The big cats walk around or jump over them. They might get s little hair on them but that’s all.

Purchased these to keep stray cats off my porch and off my porch furniture. Had no effect on that situation they still show up. I got cat hair all over my patio furniture still and cat poop and pee on my porch😡

Very versatile! Can be used in a variety of ways! Purchased this item in 2023 to keep my dogs from urinating around newly planted bushes. (10/10) As the bushes got bigger, I cut the pieces smaller, moved them indoors, and placed themunder/near things (a favorite bench leg, under a Christmas tree, under a plant pot, etc) to again deter pets. Three years later the scat mats are still strong and pliable. But the last way that I have used the scat mat is probably the best! (See picture) I used zipties and inverted scat mats on a mailbox to grow a flowering vine. (Much cheaper than other alternatives and the same color as the mailbox pole.) i’m sure there are 1000 other ways I can use this product! I definitely feel like I have gotten my moneys worth with this product and have considered getting more to see how else I can use it.

the reviews that say it doesn't stay flat are from impatient people. it comes rolled, obviously you'll need to weight it down for an hr and it'll be fine. Does detters cats but you do need to lay it down the entire surface. Obviously a cat could jump over it, even two next to eachother a cat can jump. that being said, I used it for under my bed. initially because there was a "ceiling" i thought i could lay one row along the perimeter but they jumped over it. so bought 3 packs of 2 to cover the entire floor of my California king bed. they hook together to create a fully covered surface. detters the cats now and i can still put things under my bed. very easy to put together especially when your using it correctly. I got it on sale so it was worth the price but now the value went up. I'm looking for a cheaper version.
