Kenu Highline for iPhone 6/6s | Security Cell Phone Bungee Leash and Protective Case

So I lost my phone a month ago because it slipped out of my pocket and was left in a cab. This case is great for me now when I go out for the night, I can attach it to a belt loop and keep my phone securely in my pocket. The leash attaches securely to the case and its very light weight. Will also be good for when I go skiing.Cons:The case is a little slippery but since it's attached to the cord it's not that big of a deal. Also wish the price was around $20, I think $30+ is a little steep for a minimalistic case

I love this product. It does not last as long as I'd like it to but it is definitely a phone saver. I've turned many people on to the benefits of the Kenu.If you could improve durability that would be great.

It is okay. I bought this item as it had great reviews and I thought it cannot fail with having nice looking cover with leash. What can go wrong?Well, my case broke off where the leash latches on, after 3 months use. I was not particularly gentle but I did not abuse it. And then, my colleagues broke. It was not the case but it was the orange portion where it latches on to the case. The part that goes into the charging port broke off and it stuck in there. His was even newer, less than 3 months old. After I did the research, I found you can use safety pin or a needle to push the broken part from the side and push it while you pull it out. He did it for 5 minutes and it came out. So I am thinking it would be a matter of time before mine connector will break. I gave 3 stars because Kenu's customer support is great and very quick to response. I got replacement cover in less than a week after I reported it. My colleague is getting his replacement within a few days. It happened today and he reported it today. He already got the tracking number. The product has 1 year warranty. I have a feeling I will be contacting this customer support once or twice before the warranty period is over.We both like the product and I can assure we are not using it roughly. I just wonder what type of testing Kenu did before they thought the product was good enough for daily use and good to sell.....From my personal experience, this product needs few more revisions before it is market ready.Update: Since my review above, the case broke twice more. Please note that the cover is now clear. Kenu said the new one is much stronger (it is a bit thicker). The second time, including above, was my fault. I dropped my case as I was getting out of my car (leash was not latched on). Though, it was only dropped from 2 feet or so, but it was on to the concrete surface, so I have no issues. I did contact the customer support at Kenu and they shipped the replacement again, no questions asked. And then about 2 months later, I noticed that this new cover has cracks. They were at 4 corners, mainly around where there are a lot of stresses on the cover and not enough support from surroundings, such as where the hole for the camera lens is (the plastic is thin), opening for the volume buttons, and the bottom corners.I just notice it one day. No drops, nothing. Again, Kenu shipped the replacement right away, no questions asked.While I appreciate the Kenu's great customer support. I would not buy this product again, not as it is. I hope they will continue to improve their products. I changed my review from 3 stars to 2 for now. If the cover and the latch can be made a bit sturdier and last much longer, I will buy it again.MORE UPDATE: It has been 9 months since I bought this and I went through 4 covers and I am waiting to get the 5th one. The cover is just not well made. If the product that can consistently only last 2-3 months, there is something wrong in design and test processes. Now I am giving it 1 star. Negative 4 stars for the products and 5 stars for the support. But then again, with the product this bad, you have to have a good support.FUTHER UPDATE:: In the 10th months, after I got my 5th replacement case, it started cracking at corners after a few weeks. I sent email asking for replacement to the customer service and I got three new ones!! Again, the customer service is great and they said that they are now working on a better case. After 2 weeks, my case cracked at corners. My warranty will expire in March. I don't think I will be looking for another Kenu until I am sure that the case and the latch would last longer than a year.

The new iphone cameras as excellent. I have found myself, more and more, using them as my sole camera on vacation. They are convenient, easy to use and don't take up any extra space. Other than the lack of significant telephoto, they are marvelous. But this isn't a smartphone camera review.The biggest problem I have when vacationing is concern over accidental loss of my phone. I found myself on the Sydney bridge in Australia, trying to take shots of the amazing views, with a death grip on my phone. I was convinced it was going to leap out of my hand and plummet hundreds of yards into the seething waters below, never to be seen again.I have missed amazing shots while riding on a chairlift in the winter for fear that I would fumble my phone and it would, again, plummet down, never to be seen again. Given cold fingers, gloves, and ski poles, this is even more likely on the lift than on a bridge.So, try to find a tethered case for your phone. I've looked and looked. I was able to find one in Sydney for my 5, but until I found this case, there was none to be had for my 6. I have since purchased and used this case. It's great! The black case is sturdy and attractive. It has a low profile, so my 6 still fits in a lot of the places I had sized for my 5. The tether is removable. My only concern is that I might misplace the tether, since I don't keep it on all the time. I have so far used this for skiing and intend to use this for all the rest of the trips I take, and any other risky place I take my phone. Far better to avoid the drop in the first place, I say.

**I purchased the Kenu Highline iPhone 6 case about 3 months ago and have used it daily**For somebody like me who was looking for an iPhone case that satisfies a VERY specific purpose... THAT OF PROVIDING A TETHER TO MYSELF OR MY GEAR... this is nearly perfect.I climb things. Mountains, rocks, buildings, ladders, etc. I sometimes have to move quickly while climbing things.I've had every number of expensive and cheap cases. None provide a dummy cord like this one for when I drop the device. While it's likely not a big deal when it's protected inside an Otterbox and only falls 36", it is a big deal when your device slides out of your cargo pocket when you are contorting your body around a ledge, and falls several hundred feet below to it's ultimate demise.Bottomline: this thing is extremely legit if you know why you are getting it.*****UPDATE*****Still very impressed with the Kenu Highline for my iPhone after a year of use. In the single instance I contacted Kenu customer service, I received a near-immediate response and friendly interaction. Still highly recommend for those seeking protection for their iPhone with an ability to tether to almost anything.

I bought this case specifically to use the leash while rock climbing. The case is perfect for it's intended use. Low profile, pretty durable and the clip worked well to give me the extra security I needed to be able to comfortable hang out from the rock edge and take photos of my wife and friends as they climb!

Great buy for anything sporty. The cord is strong and easily held the phone when I dropped it. Also as an added benefits you feel more confident taking pictures in situations where your phone normally be at risk, such as skiing

This item broke off in my phone charger port I then had to pay £50 to get a new port!

Very poor quality, corner of case broke after a couple of months and now find I am unable to return! AVOID!!!!
