Great pedalboard, low priced, works like the Boss BCB60 but holds twice the number of pedals. Way better!
Very versatile. Now I can bring twelve pedals anywhere. So convenient. Looks like eyecandy too especially when colorful pedals are setup on it. I use the right combination of Boss pedals and play guitars with high quality humbucking pickups like EMG, Seymour Duncan, and DiMarzio. The noise is very minimal when pausing during a performance. Just avoid turning the compressor pedal's level and sustain to the maximum. Same with the distortion's level, gain or distortion level knob. With the right order of the pedals, the right settings, and the right pickups, and also the right placement of the pedalboard away from other electronic equipment that could generate noise, are some of the good ways to get a great sound from a big chain of pedals. A noise suppressor pedal may even be not necessary in the chain but for sure it would clean up all those remaining hiss or hum if included. The pedalboard's power supply works very well with all twelve pedals too. DC voltage seems to be distributed evenly. I recommend this to any guitar player looking for an affordable and simple way to setup a bigger pedal chain. Great product from Behringer!

Amazing deal!
I purchased this because even though I use mostly Boss effects, I also use a Behringer Hell-babe Wah. Some of the reviews mentioned that Boss effects fit perfectly and that there is a 'footprint' for a wah type effect. I must say thanks to those reviewers! The only issue I have is that I'm kinda slow, so it took me a while to realize that I had to unscrew a part of the actual board in order for the wah to sit comfortably. I was also a little bit apprehensive about using the supplied adapter with all of my pedals in case there was some sort of conflict, but so far it has been a perfect experience! This is such a sturdy board. I must say though, that I had no idea it would be so huge! This is a perfect addition to any serious rig. UPDATE 21/6/10: I've finally filled all the available slots with the addition of the Boss Phase Shifter. So far this board has performed superbly! Yes, there is some noise (as there always is when using overdrive/distortion pedals), but no more than is to be expected. I use a Boss Noise Suppressor (Sorry if this is beginning to look like a Boss ad) and it works perfectly!

Amazon raised the price, but still a good deal
I purchased this pedal board from Amazon when it was only 99.99, and unfortunately it looks as if they've upped the price since then. This board is the same basic construction as the BOSS BCB-60, which I also own, except this board is larger and accommodates roughly twice as many pedals (I ran out of room on my Boss board). Here's the lowdown: the Behringer board and the power adapter are both great, in fact, I even purchased another of the same Behringer power adapter as a back-up. I would say that the board is SLIGHTLY less durable than the BOSS BCB-60, but the two are almost identical except for size: they are made of the same types of materials, and even use almost the same exact plastic locks to fasten the board shut. The connector cables provided with the Behringer board, unfortunately, are terrible. They produce a lot of static hiss. I've actually transported all the cables that came with the Boss board into the Behringer. If you are serious about your guitar sound, YOU WILL NEED TO USE DIFFERENT PATCH CABLES. Another thing I found somewhat troublesome was the use of screws (used to fasten down the foam inside the board) which sometimes require a screwdriver to get loose. The ones included with the BOSS case are twistable with your fingers and don't require any tools. Despite these complaints, this is a durable board and still a pretty good deal at 129. Here's to hoping they lower the price again!

Good value for the price - Noisy, though
This is an inexpensive pedalboard, costing about 1/2 to 1/3 as much as some of the others. It sets up easily. I do not have any Behringer components, but it fits the small Boss units in the standard slots. They do not provide extra foam for oddly-sized components, of which I have several. For my MXR flanger, Green Screamer, Morley pedal, and MXR Noise Gate I had to cut out custom foam inserts. I found the foam at mcmaster.com. When closed, the case provides good protection for the pedals, which was my main reason for buying it. Unfortunately the Morley pedal doesn't fit when the case is closed, so I still have some fussing to do to get set up, but it is much better than before when I had all of the pedals thrown into a bag. The biggest problem with this arrangement is that it is NOISY, especially when using a compressor or the Green Screamer. I suspect that the noise is coming from a ground loop, which is not uncommon in pedalboards, when several pedals share the same power supply. There are some possible solutions, of which the most promising appears to be a multi-tap transformer that would isolate the ground returns. But that is still on the list of things to do. In my case the MXR and Morley run on AC so there is AC power running near the signal lines, which also is probably contributing to the noise. All told I think this is a decent product, at a good value (considering it comes with what could easily be $50 worth of patch cords). For a garage band, it is adequate. If you are going on tour with Pink Floyd, you can probably afford something a bit more high end.

Great product, great value!
Struggling with my previous pedal board was a mess; noisy and unreliable. The PB1000 proved to be a straight-forward solution providing a compact, secure arrangement, with an easy to reach "at-a-glance" floor placement. It has allowed me to include additional pedals in my effects chain and improved the performance reliability by 100%! It anchors to floor and stays put, plus it's easy to conform odd-sized pedals and multiple length cables. If you're looking for a comprehensive pedal board solution that's dependable and economic, this is the one to get.

Great pedalboard
For the price it's an awesome huge portable board. Though it was designed for Behringer/Boss effects it will work with anything. Just get a knife or exacto blade and start cutting the foam. Comes with plenty of cable and connectors. Closes up easy for protection and convenient to transport. My two issues are: what if you run out of foam or change pedals after cutting? This is easy just go to Hobby Lobby and grab some more and cut to fit. The other thing I noticed is sometimes the board would just cut out/off. This was due to the extra power connection sitting in the tray together and whenever they would touch a short would happen. I simply cut up some straws and covered the ends I wasn't using and it was fixed. All in all a great board for the price!

Holds pedals alright but the clips snapped so it's now useless
I used this product for about a month before it fell about 2-3 feet and both plastic clips that hold it shut blew apart. This was not a big tumble, just fell out of the car and my pedals were on the street. One vintage ProCo rat was mint and is now missing some powder coat (I collect decent pedals and play them, but I try to keep the boxes, paperwork, and the pedals themselves in as best condition as possible, hence this high priced pedal-board.) I attempted to contact customer service but was unable to reach them. I think Behringer is a good company but this PB1000 is responsible for ruining a vintage pedal. I would bump the rating if I could get replacement clips but will have to know this must be handled a bit more gingerly and is more of a carrying case and not expect it to protect my pedals from trips to practice. A 2-3 foot fall should not break anything apart that is supposed to be protecting expensive gear.

Great board, really good size and easy to modify for all pedals. Really does stop pedals moving on the move.
I was a little bit skeptical about this board because of the negative comments about the power supply, and the fact that I have some larger pedals. However, the clasp on my old pedal board broke, and I'm sick of velcro not keeping pedals in place, so I thought I'd give it a go. This is a very sturdy board and a perfect size. The plastic catches do seem a bit weak but hopefully they will hold. Rubber on the bottom of the board holds it in place really well. I spent a long time (over an hour) setting up the board. It wasn't difficult, but it was time consuming, but to be honest it was enjoyable. I like my board to look neat so I ran the daisy chain power supply under the segments by lifting them and then putting them back. My board goes like this: vox wah (top right hand corner, I removed the metal bar at the top to allow the wah to fit and then cut a segment to hold the wah in place), fender tuner, proco rat (had to cut a bit each side of a slot), joyo tubescreamer clone, joyo tremolo (joyo pedals fit perfectly) boss dd3, behringer rv600, zoom g3 (I had to lay this sideways, it essentially takes up 4 slots like this but it is the exact width of two slots so I just had to cut the slots and the g3 slides in. The best part about this board is the pedals don't move about..... At all! The foam does a good job of holding pedals in place and the lid has a compressed foam on the underside which holds everything solidly. Gone are the days of leaving your case on its side, opening up and finding that the velcro has slipped. I connected all the pedals up (using my own planet waves connectors, didn't even open the pack supplied), put in the power supply and ran a cable to a tiny terror combo. I put on the power expecting horrible noise from the supply and....... Hardly anything. Certainly less than a power brick I used to use. I'm impressed. It's worth noting that the zoom g3 has its own supply. This is partly because the right angles on the daisy chain weren't deep enough to allow me to connected the zoom, but I was quite happy with this because I didn't want to stress the supply. So a board that works, and for the amount of money paid for a board this size with power, it's very good indeed.

Big but safe, Handy & All in One Unit
It is bigger than I thought. But after putting stomp boxes I understand it is perfect. It ensures full protection of pedals. Not very hard to change effect box arrangement. I arranged it for the first time. I will final it after experimenting with some setups. There is no problem with usual size effect boxes. Of course one can put smaller or bigger size stomp boxes also, because PB 1000 has all options. Separate power supply (daisy chain and 9 V 1.7 amp power adapter) is not too good but OK. Leads should be better quality. But I did not find any noise. The board has a in built green power indicator. Many buyers complains about the latches of this box and as well as the Boss pedal box also. So from the beginning I handle the latches with care. I see the latches are not very bad. But as the box is big I must be careful about the height of effect boxes while putting them. There is option to lower height. Don't shut it down by pressure depending on the latches only. Built quality is good enough for the price. It looks gorgeous too. There's no problem with easy customization, even with different or extra power supply. All parts are easily replaceable or repairable. Yes I am happy with this purchase.
