Yupik Organic Raw Unsalted California Walnut Halves & Pieces, 35.2 oz

At first, I had high expectations for this company’s walnuts, but my initial order was honestly disappointing. They had an oily smell and didn’t taste very fresh, even though the expiration date hadn’t passed. I was ready to return them and leave a negative review. To my surprise, the seller responded quickly and handled the situation professionally, offering to send a replacement. I appreciated their attitude and decided to give it another try. When the new batch arrived, I tried it right away — and this time, the walnuts were truly fresh and tasted great, well beyond my expectations. It’s possible the first batch wasn’t handled properly, but what stood out to me was how sincerely the seller addressed the issue and corrected it. Based on their customer service and the improved quality, I’m comfortable giving them five stars. I definitely will buy it again.

These organic raw California walnut halves are fresh, crunchy, and taste naturally rich without any bitterness. They work great for snacking, baking, or adding to oatmeal, salads, and desserts. The pieces are mostly whole halves, which makes them look and feel high quality. I also like that they’re unsalted and raw, so they’re versatile for both sweet and savory recipes. The large 2.2 lb bag is a great value and lasts a long time. A solid pantry staple for anyone who enjoys clean, healthy snacks.

I’m very happy with these Yupik USDA Organic Raw California Walnut Halves. The walnuts taste fresh, delicious, and have a great natural flavor without any added ingredients. I really like that they come in halves rather than being mostly broken pieces, and the resealable bag makes storage convenient. The 2.2-pound size is also a great value for anyone who eats walnuts regularly. Overall, a high-quality product that I would definitely buy again.

I love these walnuts. They're delicious, organic, and you get plenty for your money. The only problem is that the bag doesn't seal properly once you open it. Unless you have another container that you like to keep your nuts in, this could become problematic. And I've purchased them at least 5 times now and it's happened with every single bag. I decided to carefully analyze the bag to see why I had to keep resealing it and I realized it's not made very well.

The first thing I noticed was that these walnuts are lighter in color than many brands. My first taste was hesitant. I'm so used to getting old, rancid tasting walnuts. Surprise! These tasted fresh. There was even very little of the tannin flavor that is present in almost all walnuts. As usual, I soaked and dried them. WOW! What an eating pleasure. A delight to my mouth.

Incredible quality Walnuts hands down the best. Really big pieces great flavor no musty taste. I love this one

These walnuts are slightly bitter indicating they’re old or have been subjected to too much light. I kept eating them anyway and finally got one that was completely rancid and had to spit it out. That’s it….I threw these away and ordered another brand.

We love these! Excellent taste and quality. We order again and again.
