Robin Harris Live at The Comedy Act Theater-The Lost Tapes This never before released Live Show of Robin Harris as the host and his comedy friends at The Comedy Act in Los Angeles 1987 As master of ceremonies at the Comedy Act, Robin Harris took verbal potshots at anything that moved--and that included customers. To get to the club's restrooms, patrons had to maneuver toward the stage and snake past crowded tables and chairs, providing Harris with ample time to comment on their clothes, hair, or walk.

Some of the best comedy I have seen in years!
So sorry not to have seen Robin and crew in person. Brilliant scripting. Lots of work must have gone into the script and staging, Terrific audience! Definitely check it if you like comedy.

It was funny but I seen funnier
It was funny but I seen funnier. I believe if Robin Harris would have had a single stand up show (himself only) it would have been hilarious. He's one hell of a Funny man!

Pretty Unfunny Overall
Honestly this was pretty weak throughout. The material and the delivery were poorly conceived and executed. Most of it was just posturing, waving hands, and making odd noises. A little of that kind of thing is okay, but it quickly becomes both boring and disappointing when stretched out to fill the entire program. Some of the insults were humorous in that old-school Dozens way, but not strong enough to overcome all of the other flaws. The sound quality also seemed bad, and it was often difficult to understand what the different performers were even saying.

R.I.P Robin Harris
If your a Robin Harris fan, you have to love it. You can see Robin at his best before his HBO special, he was a comic legend, he is missed greatly and this is great footage of Robin hosting and not just doing a special.

I really didn't like this DVD
I really didn't like this DVD, most of the comedians weren't funny. I thought that it would be a full Robin Harris routine, but he was MCing a group who should be forgotten.

One Star
Love Robin but this isn't a reflection of the great mans talent.
