MegaMoto Plus Motor Control Shield for Arduino The Robot Power MegaMoto PlusTM is a robust H-bridge "shield" for the Arduino and hardware compatible base units. The standardized shield format stacking headers up to three MegaMoto Plus units to be controlled by a single Arduino Uno or Mega or other hardware compatible base unit using pass-through stacking headers. The robust MOSFETs used in the MegaMoto Plus are fully protected against over-current and over-temperature. The MegaMoto Plus is the first and only motor control for Arduino that gives users the ability to control multiple motors at up to 40A of current and up to 28V. That's over 1100W of power! At last Arduino users can easily control high-current, high-power motors for robotics, scooters & Segways, industrial controls and many other applications by using their familiar development environment and without messy, unreliable "lash up" type connections to discrete motor controls. The MegaMoto Plus can also control other DC loads such as lights, solenoids, relays, valves, Peltier junction coolers, Hydrogen generators or basically any DC device within the operating voltage and current range. The MegaMoto Plus is a dual half-bridge circuit that can be configured either has a full H-bridge or as two independent half-bridge circuits. This allows a single MegaMoto Plus to drive one motor with full variable-speed control both forward and reverse. It also allows two independent motors, or other loads, to be controlled in a uni-directional fashion. The true flexibility of the MegaMoto Plus is shown when multiple units are stacked onto a single base Arduino unit. Jumpers are used to select which Arduino signals drive the Enable and PWM inputs on each MegaMoto. This flexibility allows the MegaMoto Plus to play nice with other shields which might require the use of certain pins.

Great product, just know what you're getting
This is a great little unit. Example code is easy to find, their website has lots of clear instructions, and it took me less than 20 minutes to get it doing what I wanted it to do once I had made all my connections. My only complaint is that the connections for the battery and the motor, while operable, seem to be a little fragile. Once again, they work great, but it would be good to be aware of that and not expect this to be super rugged. That being said, I am still pleased and would buy it again.

These things worked great for driving high amp draw Bilge pump motors forward ...
These things worked great for driving high amp draw Bilge pump motors forward and reverse we placed on a home made ROV. Don't was your time with the little the 2amp products everyone pushes to work with Arduino's . Cost more but are rock solid
