look elsewhere.
Delivered but obviously repackaged and had a few scuffs. I would consider it used, not new. Was poorly constructed and underrated, while reducing some noise it was not worth the money. It's internal construction and design in my opinion is poor. I seriously doubt its capacity claims of 10 amps. Going to be landfill fodder soon.

Used this to eliminate the DC pulsing from my taillight circuit so i could get a clear picture on my Backup cam. Before the filter i measures 4VAC and after the filter i measured 1VAC, So it does work but its just not powerful enough to.

Worked for me
I installed an iPod adapter from [...] in my car and suffered from alternator whine loud enough to be a constant annoyance. The instructions on the NS10 package show that it's possible to hook up the three wires in what seems to be any configuration. I found that putting it in series with the +12V wire going to the iPod adapter, using only the blue and red wires, completely eliminated the alternator whine.

nice size to performance ratio
I got 2 of these & 2 of the 12amp model. These are much smaller. The 10 amp is more than enough for most head units. I used them to suppress line noise to rear view cameras & the 12 amp for the head units. Wish I'd just got 4 of the 10amp units.

Hard to find at a hardware store
With the age of big box stores, things like this in line noise suppressor are hard to find. Amazon.com not only has them, they have many varieties with fair prices. I've got it installed and am happy with it so far.

A good noise suppresor
I ordered this item for my back-up camera system in my truck. The picture was good before and after installing this it's better. Good enough to see a differnce but not entirely a crystal clear image.

It is what it is
I purchased this to put inline with the rear view camera I purchased for my wife's. It is significantly larger than I thought it would be but hey, it does what it should do and was pretty cheap.

Bulky but in-expensive for a simple device
Could use better instructions, they are totally confusing if you didn't know how they are to function. Current instructions are ambiguos as to what wire goes where for what reason.
