The necklace does appear to be approximately 59" long... no clasp - continuous. The purple stone beads are wildly varying in color - which is ok for me - amethyst naturally occurs in wildly different color saturation. Just be aware if you are hoping for matching color all along. The necklace is nicely and evenly knotted at each bead. All in all, I am very happy with the necklace. I never hesitate to update my reviews should new info seem useful and I have included some pic that I hope you will find helpful.

This is actually a nice beaded necklace. Amethyst looks like dark grapes and is partially translucent. It seem to have some grayish tint to it, that I do not like. It looks almost black in artificial or low light. Beads are very accurate, all the same size. The longer one can be styled in different ways. Just like on the picture. I may buy one more in different color. I wish they had clear and rose quartz as well.Unfortunately I did not find this pretty as a necklace. Interesting on their own these stones does not look like a piece of jewelry.

To begin with, I ordered this (in turquoise) late on Friday night, maybe 2 a.m. and it arrived around 7 p.m. on Sunday, so that was awesome... Then the necklace itself was fabulous -- I'm always on the hunt for a long turquoise necklace and I've never found one that was exactly what I wanted. I love that this one is knotted between each bead, the length is perfect (it's also the perfect length to wrap around my wrist a few times with no slack!) the bead size is perfect and the color is gorgeous; I couldn't be happier. And the price! I'm planning to order extras just because -- you can't not, you know? :D

This is a nice long necklace, but being lots of small beads of polished rock - it is fairly heavy, so keep that in mind. I can wrap it three times around my head, or loop a knot into it, or whatever I feel works for the outfit. For me, I really like the tactile quality of the beads and the natural colours of the stone. I'd get another in different colours, just to switch it up.

I ordered these for my mom as she has disability and they would be very easy for her to sleep over her head. They came in a beautiful little red velvet bag and they are absolutely gorgeous. I like them so much I ordered a strand for myself and another for a friend. Quality beads. Blue, gray and earthtones.

I got this for my yogi mom. She doesn’t like to be restricted by her jewelry. It’s long enough to wrap twice comfortably or she ties a knot close to the bottom. It holds essential oils well. It feels surprisingly heavy. I wasn’t expecting quality. Would get again!

I love this necklace!!! It was packaged in a lovely little cloth bag, great for gift giving. The color is beautiful and it is very well made! I would definately order from this company again.
