Good quality online purchase grass seed
This grass seed is right up there with premium grass seed that you would find at quality nursery and or professional gardening center. Only thing holding this grass seed back is 0.02% WEED SEED and LOT LOCATION consistency. Yes, I understand purchasing the same exact LOT# a few months apart is very hard, but the 1st bag contained tall fescue LTP-111 grass seed and the 2nd bag did not. That being said the 2nd bag did offer Leonard tall fescue which is a Highly ranked for overall turf quality in 2013 NTEP test. I will use Greenview grass seed in the future for bare spot repair only but not for new lawn establishment till I see 0.00% weed seed on the label.

Great value for your money
The seed covers a large area and works quickly with new growth sprouting up in all its beauty. I plan to repurchase the seeds as a gift and recommend the brand to anyone looking for a lush, green carpeted yard.

Nice dark green, wish the entire lawn was this color
I have a very shady yard with thin grass, as well as a hill, so I tried this for some overseeding to try to fill in the thin spots. I used a sunjoe with the scarcifier blade to try to loosen some soil because it would take too long to rake loosen everything. Even though I hit everything in both directions you can see the seedlings in straight lines so the seed really likes a loose covering of soil contact. I put this down along with some Scotts shade seed that has the blue covering and this seed appears to have come in first. I would say 3-4 weeks and it came in pretty good and this was the beginning of october as leaves and temperature started falling. The color is a nice rich green compared to my existing grass (that nice green you see on a sports field). I plan on putting more down before the first snow to let the freeze/thaw winter cycles to help drive the seeds in the ground a bit and will probably follow through with more in the spring. Chicago area weather along with the shade of my trees will tell the test of time but if this can help fill in and give a nicer color this summer I will be recommending to everyone I know.

Expensive but worth it
I live in central Ohio and got terrible grass mold over the winter. Ended up having to rip up a bunch of spots throughout the yard. I took the time to prep the yard by removing all the old dead grass then lay a little bit of topsoil and the seed. I would say within 10-15 days the grass started growing fast and thick. It has now been about 2 months and the yard looks awesome! I planted the grass in early spring and watered it twice a day - would definitely recommend!

Grass seed
Ok for some patch work but if you need high quality and better results probably should go to a nursery or seed company and buy the variety that works best for you lawn.

I was hesitant to buy seed online, but this stuff is great.
I put this down last fall in a yard about 40/60 weeds to grass. This has taken off and done wonderfully everywhere I drop spread it. It came in think and beautiful last fall and is still holding strong throughout the winter.Remember the key to any grass seed germination is watering, which can get expensive but it pays off.

Complete waste of time!
Did not germinate much after 26 days! Yes, I did use starter feed. Complete disappointment and waste of time and sweat and effort. Compare the adjacent lawn that I seeded with Scott's tall fescue.

Works within weeks
This grass seed is awesome. I loosened up the dirt, spread a generous amount in the area, and watered for a few days. Nature did the rest and after a few weeks of June, the grass came in and in July it is fully blended with the rest of the yard. Great product!!
