Maybelline New York Color Sensational Lipcolor, Bronzed 295, 0.15 Ounce

I am surprised by the quality of Maybelline products. For a number of years, I would not go near the drugstore makeup brands for fear of getting something cheap and awful on my skin, but the new data shows that these brands have a lot of science and research behind what they put in their products, and while some still don't agree with me, I love the lipsticks by Maybelline. First: the container! I love the burnt orange lipstick cover case. It just makes me happy and it looks expensive, even if it isn't. This color is gorgeous on my not-fair complexion and I even got one for my mom - she really likes Maybelline lipsticks. I do like to reapply several times during the day especially after meals (but only because I brush my teeth after meals). Nothing but good things to say here: Love the feel and functionality of this lipstick. 5 stars.

This is my favorite color ever!! It's a bronze color but lighter than darker it's neutral if you are an brown girl like me, lips are moisturized and has good staying power but not thru a meal, recommended.

Just put some on- it isn’t as gold as it looks in tube which is good. Like another reviewer said, this is close to the color Mocha Freeze, that wad discontinued. Like it!

Color does not look the way pics have shown it; but makeup often doesn't, even when the person on the pic is a similar complexion. I won't likely purchase this color again; they have better colors which look better for my complexion. However, i won't give it under 3 stars b/c there's nothing wrong with the lipstick; the color just doesn't show up against my complexion like the pic.

I've worn this brand and color for years and when it stopped being sold in stores, I looked on Amazon and was so happy to find it. I believe at that time, it was about $6 per tube. It's since escalated to $19.99. I won't pay that much for a product that originally was much less. If I'm forced to pay $19.99 - I'll buy something at Ulta in a bigger name brand. I so disappointed in this cost. You have a beautiful product Mayelline - why ruin your sales????

The metallic shimmer is subtle but dramatic. It doesn't dry out your lips but you will need to reapply. Nice look for the day and it's not too heavy or shiny.

I really like this lipstick. The color is great. I love that it stays put on my lips.

This is my favorite color- it’s nude like. It moisturizes my lips and helps keeps them from drying out, stays on well, and lasts a long time. I can’t always find this color in the store. So glad I can order it here.
