White balance card
Not much to really say about this. Piece of plastic that is white. Works on setting white balance on my cameras.

Light, somewhat flimsy paper and string
I thought this might be the cheapest way to get a white balance card, but after one use I learned that even for this price, this floppy paper and cheap string combo is not worth the trouble. We were shooting in England on a miserable damp day and this card absorbed a lot of water from the air, even though I was careful to not get it wet. After that one shoot the card was soggy and limp. I ended up getting a durable 5" by 7" plastic gray card ( Digital Grey Kard - Event Sized - White Balance Card - Gray Card for Digital Photography which fits easily in my photo backpack and is totally indestructible. I've used it on dozens of photo shoots and it is durable and dependable. A good gray card should not be something you have to think twice about. For a product/model shot I bought a Digital Grey Kard Premium so I could have the nice three card set Digital Grey Kard Premium White Balance Card / Gray Card for Digital Photography which has a gray, a black, and a white card for setting the correct levels for every shot. Steer clear of the flimsy paper cards.
