The 1990s, what a glorious time to be a fan of electronic music. This was the decade to see the rise of so many life changing acts, from The Prodigy to The Chemical Brothers - from Leftfield to Moby and beyond. Ministry of Sound’s latest offering, Electronic 90s, pays homage to a selection of the scenes truest pioneers, who’s music during this period has forever shaped the sound of modern day electronica. Electronic 90s charts a selection of unforgettable records across an epic 3CD collection ranging from classic house, dance-floor electro, acid techno, dream state trance through to Balearic chillout, from some of the best to ever do it: Faithless, Underworld, The Prodigy, The Chemical Brothers, Fatboy Slim, Robert Miles, Jamiroquai, Groove Armada, Moby, Zero 7, Happy Mondays, The Stone Roses and many, many more.

Awful robot mix, avoid
Despite a solid track list and bargain price it is ruined by a hapless mix that must have been done by a three legged poodle drunk on babycham.

COMPRESSED
A good selection of tracks. Ruined with poor sound quality. Compressed to hell. Sounds like an old mp3. OK for a party.

It’s Okay
The best CD from this set is number 2. I would have thought it could have been a lot better being it’s Ministry of Sound.
