Wrong power adapter
When the laptop arrived, early, I promptly hooked it up only to find that it would not turn on. The small white LED light at the power connection was on and the power button had a very dim, flickering, light. I elected to let it charge up the battery after ensuring the adapter was indeed putting out 19.5 VDC. After many hours of charging the computer would still not boot up. I called HP Support, told them all I did to fix the issue and was then asked what wattage rating was on the power adapter. It was 45W. I was then told that was the incorrect adapter; that it should be 150W. I was given the part number for the correct part, ordered it from Amazon next day delivery. I plugged it in and the computer came to life. Whoever boxed this "renewed" computer up for delivery put the wrong power adapter in the box, thus costing me another $44 to get the adapter. The computer is working great with the exception of a crackling sound from the speakers during certain tones. I bought this laptop to use to operate an Xtool laser, so speaker quality is not a big issue for me.Update: I lowered the stars to 3 after finding out that the battery is dead and will need to be replaced. Wrong power adapter and dead battery warrant that rating. Overall the computer is running great with the power adapter.Update#2 ITreplay's customer service was fantastic. Not only did they get back to me very fast with each message, but they credited me for the power adapter that I had to purchase and they are sending a new battery to me, 2 day delivery. For the customer service alone I upgraded the review to 5 stars.

Incredible for its price!
This laptop was not perfect, and the claim of "no visible imperfections when held at arm's length" was not true. However, on the inside, this laptop is a beast. On top of it's incredible performance, and despite the few bumps and scratches, every part of it seems to work fine: screen, camera, ports, mousepad, Bluetooth, wifi, battery, charger, fingerprint scanner; everything works fine. It's also a very easy computer to upgrade if you have the right screwdriver. It only takes 9 torx screws to get inside where it has room for 4 DDR4 ram cards, 2 PCIE SSDs, and one SATA SSD.As long as the laptop you get is in the same condition mine was, it is absolutely worth the price. However, if Amazon screws up your laptop, they do have a guaranteed return policy so it is worth the risk.

Good for the price
The price was worth it. This laptop won't win any beauty contests, and the components are not Win11 ready, but I will say it is very clean for a "renewed" laptop. I didn't get it for Win11 so I was OK with that. I thought the battery was dead when I got it, because when I plugged it in, it didn't register that it was charging, which is why I gave it 4 stars. It took an hour to just register the battery, then the whole day to charge. Maybe it was new? ? We'll see how it holds up. It's an older laptop, a little heavy but nice for the price. It fills my need.

Battery died within three months
This vendor uses stickers to cover up the High use areas on used laptops. Also, the battery died within three months of receiving the item would not buy from this vendor again.

Great PC, Even Greater Customer Service!
So, the Computer itself was a phenominal deal, specs / price wise. The Customer Service is what I'm reviewing!I ordered the PC as you typically do, received a "your order will be delivered by XXXX" notification, as normal. Then, the Computer seemed to vanish. I waited a few days, and then decided to contact the seller (Global)They were able to track te computer to a UPS warehouse, that happened to be having huge delay issues due to inclement weather (Texas getting blasted by Arctic weather)Not only did they call me, after replying to my message, they gave me the option to eother recieve a refund, OR have it returned to them, and then personally having it shipped directly to me.It was fantastic customer service, and we received the PC shortly after. it runs beautifully, came as described, and I will 100% be ordering again with Global!

Inadequate power adapter
Got the laptop in July, Have had no issue (except for the Fingerprint scanner) until today, after having it Idle, and plugged in to the power adapter, I took it on the road and it did not power ON. The power button seemed dead. I was thinking Oh shoot, it died just beyond the warranty period. So I was going to write a 1-star review here. However, after reading several reviews with the same issue, and found in 1 review that the issue was the wrong power adapter. I found that the unit was shipped to me with a 65W power adapter. Did some research and found that the requirement for this laptop is a 150W power adapter. I found an old 120W HP power adapter at home (I have owned several HP laptops), so I plugged it in and it is up and running... and charging.Apparently, this unit, and many more, were shipped with under-powered power adapters (see other customers complaints.)I am thinking about getting a 150W power adapter so that the battery does not go bad. I feel I have generously given a 3-star review here. If the seller ships me a 150W power adapter, I will boost the star rating. Hope this helps.

Food debris hiding inside
The machine is OK, but too many food debris coming from the keyboard inner. It could have been cleaned better than that.

The laptop charger was not working!
The laptop charger was not working and consequently the battery was not charging. We bought another charger (paid extra $75) so we can use the laptop.
