This was the perfect fit for a unique spot
This was the perfect fit for a unique spot. The bottom of the stand is removeable and enabled us to secure the pole right to the deck, and up against the doorway. Durable and has not faded after two sunny summers. Also great in wet weather - strong enough to ward off the rain - especially when scambling for keys or preparing to go out in the weather. Love it.

it was lighter weight than I expected and didn"t shield much from rain at all Iknow it's for shade but I have another one that repels rain much better

Gorgeous color, but
Got two of these, and one arrived with one of the arms stuck in the wrong position so it wouldn't open very far. Will swap out the inoperative one for another, same model--fingers crossed!On the positive side, assembly is VERY easy--no tools required!
