I like it. But, it can use permanent mounting eyelet clip for those who'll be using it as lighting for cabinet/ interior ceiling.RF wireless remote/reciever did not work even after swapping out with a new battery.Update 05/20/2020:Bought a second set and the rf remote worked with the second set. I'll be getting a another set, later.

What an amazing deal for these. Not 5 stars for a few shortfalls. But first, the light bars themselves feel very solid. The magnet is strong. They're bright, versatile as heck!!! So many ways to configure lighting needs. And all the cords/cables, attachments, switches, spliters, power adapters and ir remote make this kit the BEST BANG FOR YOUR BUCK!!!so here a few Cons to this, BUT, still well worth the price:1. The magnets aren't protected so raw magnet exposed can scratch paint surfaces. Be careful or apply soft side of the velcro strip over the magnet to protect painted surfaces.2. The IR remote receiver does not have the waterproof screw on cap. So, keep that in mind when you use the receiver. The IR Remote is great but it shares a single signal. I went camping with a friend that bought the same kit, our remotes controlled both kits. When he got up in the middle of the night, turn his lights on... yup, mine went on. Not that big of a deal. But be aware. It's a great thing if you actually run multiple kits for yourself though.3. The roll out bag that hold the lights and accessories are somewhat clumsy, if you're the type of camper that breaks down and remove all lights after every trip, this takes long to pack up. I ended up tossing everything in the actual zip up bag and not use the organizer panel. Much faster. Only thing missing from this kit is a motion sensor adapter!

Bought 3 sets of these and everything works fine except for the remote control.I checked the batteries with a battery tester and they were all almost dead. I noticed that replacing the batteries did not fix the problem but it felt like there was almost no resistance to the insertion of the battery so I tried a CR 2032 battery which is slightly thicker and the remotes now all work fine.Knocked a star off for this snafu, but otherwise I love these lights. They come with a host of connection, power source, and switch options and put out a lot of light. The carry case is generously sized and holds everything safely in place.

The media could not be loaded.  A quality set of durable and stable RV magnetic awning led light strips. The strips base are made of aluminum with magnets in the base. The led lights are encased in resin making them waterproof. The led lights are nice and bright. The RV awninng lights can be powered by a house adapter, cigarette lighter adapter or by being clamped on to a car battery.

Very impressed with these, bought two sets. 4 very bright LED strips that can be configured in a number of ways. These come from AMSolar, a well-known solar company. Cables, switches, 120VAC adapter, 12VDC cigarette lighter adapter all are included, along with a carrying case. While a remote was included, one didn't work. also the dimming function on the remote only works on an AC power source. When on 12VDC, any dimming of the lights causes them to flicker. To solve this, I bought an inexpensive DC dimmer on Amazon, which works great with the lights-no flicker. Seller's customer service as excellent, and he made a fair offer on the non-working dimmer/remote. Highly recommended!

Light Kit arrived on time and everything worked well except the remote control unit. When I tried using the remote controller the lights would just flash and would not change. Yes I did remove the plastic battery disconnect and the remote battery showed 3 volts on my multi-meter. I decided to get a new replacement battery and try before returning the kit. The new battery fixed the issue and now everything works good. The 2025 battery that shipped in the remote control was bad even though it showed 3 volts.

A buddy and I have the Zamp lights and have been using them when camping for a couple years. These popped up on Amazon at $20 and looked to be the same. Decided to order a set and see. They show up with Zamp branding (not advertised as such) and appear to be an updated version of the ones we bought (for a lot more).Great for sticking on the side of your truck or van, excellent light, very durable, and high quality.Tremendous value at this price.

These lights are very bright. Our evening show was well lit. My advice is to set this up at home base first and do a dry run. That way you can work out positioning, angles, Mark the numerous cables. Once you’ve set this up, subsequent uses are easy so a dry run is important. Also notice that the twist locks have a slot in them- it is a great feature but if you find hat you are not able to twist lock the cables easily, it’s because you haven’t lined things up.
