First of all, this blocks data transfer for your phone. So you have to take it out of the case to connect it to the computer.Secondly, while charging with this case, it will just stop charging and not start back up, causing you to wake up to a phone with 70% battery or whatever it's at overnight to start the day.Lastly, the capacity is not what is advertised. My phone was at 70% charge, and I turned it on, and it used over half the charge of the case just for that 30%.This is discontinued, and for a good reason. Either replace the battery on your Pixel 3A, or get a new phone. This is not the magical solution it seems to be at first.

I usually always buy battery pack cases for my phone's because I like having the ease of thought, knowing I got extra battery whenever needed.The design of this case is actually well done. The design on the back is a hat tip to the OG Nexus 4 back glass plate. It's really nice. But NO it does not add texture. It feels like any other matter rudder case would feel.When charging the Pixel 3a via the case it says "charging rapidly" but I'm not 100% sure it actually is.Also this case is thick but actually manageable. And the only reason the case is thick is because of the fingerprint scanner.. the battery has to be below the scanner therefore making it a tiny bit thicker rather than stretching out taller and being less thick. ( I only say this cause battery cases for like the iPhone are nowhere near this thick because the battery can stretch from the bottom of the device to just below the camera)But if you travel a lot of just a heavy user this is a major buy for the pixel 3a.

So it's a great battery case, with a couple issues.It's easy to get going- phone fits great in the case, charges fast, holds a charge for a very long time..The negatives: the case is a bit slippery, and when you add the additional battery weight, it is more likely to be dropped. Second, when using the case, the phone doesn't pass data.. If you plug into your car for Android Auto, it won't work, even when the case is turned off. Third, the fingerprint sensor is hard to access when the case is on.If you get past those things, this is a very useful battery case!

Great case. The phone is easy to put in/take out of the case if you need to. Having backup battery life is great for long days or if you find yourself on a longer adventure than anticipated without a nearby outlet or charger.Yes, it basically doubles the thickness of the phone, but I like that...phones continue to get thinner and more slippery, so the added heft gives you more to actually hold onto. I appreciate the subtle design and black color...no thank you to flashy cases/colors.$40 to basically double your battery life? Sign me up.

This case is perfect for those on the go or who use their Pixel 3a for work. It more than doubles the life of my phone. The case is pretty tough, I work on a farm and it's constantly being handled or bounced around without any issues. It's been dropped a couple times without any problems. The only issue is that every once in a while when I connect my USB-C cable to this case, my phone does not get charged up. The solution is simple - unplug and try again. Otherwise I would definitely recommend this case to anyone looking for extended Pixel use.

I have long used Mophie Juice pack for my iPhones, but after switching to Pixel 3a, I was left looking for another battery pack case. The phone was so new I could not find one until this case came out. It is solid, protects my phone, and charges rapidly, as if i was plugged in. the only little gripe I have is that there is no USB C pass through functionality. I can charge with it on externally, but I have to remove the phone to use Android Auto in the car. To be fair, Mophie had the same problem too. Overall, very happy with case.

Very happy with purchase. Phone was down to 29% when I started with the case. in 20 min it was at 72% and rapidly recharging. I know I'm going to be very happy with this case. Feels like good protection from any potential drops and fits nicely with my glass screen protector installed. Will follow up in a few days with any added remarks if there are any reasons to not be 100% happy. Please see video review for product that I submitted. Next day followup. Battery normally 20 percent by 4. Not today. At 1pm I hit the switch and charged my phone to 100%. Battery pack is at least 50% and 8pm I'm at 70%. Very happy. Yes it's got a bit of weight to it. Having fully charged phone is worth it to me. All day power and then some. Good buy.

just too darn slippery for me. the battery life is what its supposed to be. and the value is there. fingerprint reader is hit and miss sometimes but isnt a deal breaker. i added some after market grips to it to make it bearable. a bit heavier than i expected a modern battery case to be. but if you need a battery case, and you will for this weak Google Pixel, this should be a happy median for you.

Edit: second case which was ordered December 2020 has stopped charging and the company won't provide any support after only 4.5 months of use.My first one wouldn't charge at all after the first week, getting a refund involved me sending emails with tracking screenshots. Second one arrived and only charges the phone when the case is fully charged despite the manual and description saying the opposite was the case.
