Works with iPhone 5s and Pioneer MVH-P8300BT
I bought this cable to connect my iPhone 5s to my Pioneer MVH-P8300BT head unit after upgrading from an iPhone 4, and it works perfectly. The cable feels high quality (I've not had it long enough to assess durability), and the tapered lightning plug fits comfortably through the protective case opening. I was surprised at how short it was (21" plug tip-to-tip), but for me that's a bonus - it seems to be the perfect length.

Good cable for Pioneer App Radio with DVD
This is a an original Pioneer lighting cable. It is short and works well for the app radio. Not sure if it works better than the Apple cable for the same use, but I do prefer the black color.

Cable is fine but nothing special about it compared to regular cable
The Pioneer Lightening to USB cable is fine. I was having trouble with my USB connection on my Pioneer car stereo and I thought it might be the USB to Lightening cable. It turned out to be something else. So as I am finding out, as far as I know, this pioneer cable is no different than a regular USB to Lightening cable you could otherwise pick up for less than $10 on Amazon. If that is the case, then spending over $30 on this cable was a waste of money. I solved my car stereo USB issue before this cable arrived. So now I have an extra USB cable. Live and learn.... But nothing wrong with this cable.

Not worth it...
Used this cable for about 3 weeks and out of the blue I started getting the "This cable or accessory is not certified and may not work reliably with this iPhone" message. Also, noticed I constantly had to close and reopen apps like Beats when using them via CarPlay. Switched back to the standard Apple Lightning cable and I'm not having any issues. I was told by a professional installer that people tend to have issues when using non-Apple cables but I didn't heed his warning. Save yourself the hassle and stick with Apple's Lightning cables.

Wasn't quite what I was thinking it was
I bought this to replace the cord that plugs into my car's Pioneer audio system (from my iphone 4). It didn't work as for the iphone 5 upgrade apparently there are a few more components needed (according to Best Buy)...that was my fault for not checking. Basically though, this is an overpriced USB to lightning cable that you can get much cheaper elsewhere.

Works great not a real pioneer cable but works as if it is works with my iphone6

Just a normal lightning cable branded Pioneer, also nothing special inside cable from what I could tell.
Just a normal lightning cable branded Pioneer, also nothing special inside cable from what I could tell. I purchased this cable to fix a issue I had with my head unit communicating to my iPhone 5S running 7.0.X. but it didn't fix the problem. It's just an overpriced short cable. Now if you like to stay brand specific and like short cables then this cable is for you! It's also an authentic cable so you won't see that weird iPhone message about it not being a supported cable.I ended up sending it back to amazon.

I haven't had good luck finding a cord to work with my iPod ...
A little on the pricey side, but the description was very clear. I haven't had good luck finding a cord to work with my iPod and this one works as it should and my little iPod has been in my motorcycles saddle bag connected to the sounds system every since.
