Very nice projector for the price, but with some limitations to be aware of
Please note that the third photo was projected a distance of over 35 feet and onto vertical blinds and is actually much brighter than Amazon's system makes it appear! It doesn't do the projector justice, but I wanted to test its limits (working within the confines of my house). It's funny, this projector is so small and light that it's deceptive. As the listing says, it isn't recommended for professional business presentations, but it's much more than a toy - as it's size might suggest - with lots of versatility. Image quality is not on par with the In Focus projector we've got at work for PowerPoint presentations, but the In Focus cost over $1500. I think the versatility, coupled with price and size, are the real strengths of this projector. It would be great to use for polishing a slide show presentation.Over time I'll put it to other uses, but beyond testing, so far I've also used it to trace a sketch projected onto a canvas before painting. (I paint oils, and I've missed the demise of photographic slides and slide projectors that I used for that purpose. That's why I accepted this item from the seller for my fair and honest review.) It worked perfectly in that capacity.Rather than repeat what others have written I'll focus (pun intended) on the image. At over 35', projected from the kitchen all the way across the house and onto vertical blinds - we don't have big, blank walls - you can see that the image is somewhat pixilited, although in real life the image is much brighter. It's absolutely bright enough over even that distance, and much brighter than my cell phone can capture. I was impressed that with such a small unit the image is sufficiently bright and reasonably well focused over that distance. The balance of the photos were projected a distance of 15', again, with some pixilation. The real pixilation, as in the fourth photo, only shows when viewed more closely than an audience would normally be seated. I assume it's that pixilation that explains why it's not being recommended by business presentations, although I think it could work in that regard if you are selective about the kind of images used, e.g, not requiring lots of fine detail, and if you don't demand perfection..If I make the assumption that an item at this price can't fairly be compared with one many times the cost, the four stars is a no brainer. I'm knocking it down one star for some design issues. For example, it's hard to read the text on the buttons of the remote control in full light, so forget about it in a darkened room. Frustrating. You pretty much need to learn the the positions of the buttons you'll be using. Also, the way it shows the file structure of whatever you're working with is odd. Maybe I'm missing something, but I had to create an extra layer of files in order to play the files I want; I can't make it recognize files at the first level of the file structure. Still, an easy workaround, and it could be that I'm missing something. The fan does make some noise, but I found that to be acceptable. You will need books or something under the projector if you need to do much adjustment to the height of the projected imageBottom line, this isn't the equipment you'll use to land that big account, but for lots of other purposes, including practice, it could be just the ticket.

Excellent Budget Priced Projector...
This is a review of the DBPOWER BL-35 Portable Mini LED Projector. The DBPOWER BL-35 Portable Mini LED Projector is a very excellent projector for it's price range and here's why. This projector can fit in my hand and is very lightweight and portable. Lots of connection support, mostly I've been using it with HDMI and VGA. It can also support playback from USB, SD card and RCA with the included adapter. I was very pleased to find that the projector has a built-in speaker and can receive audio from the HDMI connection. I have used this projector with wireless screen casting HDMI adapters and it was fantastic, worked flawlessly. The included remote works great for controlling the projector, just make sure you keep in line of sight of the IR on the back. The remote includes a battery, just remove the plastic protector.I was a little disappointed to find this projector does not feature a built-in battery, however it's no big deal to plug the unit in. I used this projector for a business presentation with an 84" screen and it provided a great image, easy to adjust the focus on the front. The lens cap can be a bit shaky keeping it on, otherwise it works great. There is a standard screw hole on the bottom for mounting on a tripod or other type stand. The packaging is great and an excellent place to store the projector if traveling for business or during times of non-use. The surface of this projector can make it a fingerprint magnet, but it wipes off easy enough. The cooling fan is a little louder than expected, but for most of my presentation's it's not been a problem.Overall, very pleased with the DBPOWER BL-35 Portable Mini LED Projector. Good quality picture, works for my business presentations and movie night at home.[Review Sample Provided For Review And Evaluation]
