Nice monitor, weird colors by default, some uneven backlighting
Great monitor for the price. My only complaints are that the default color mode is a little over-saturated and there's some uneven backlighting near the edges. If you care about the colors, put the display into SRGB mode and you're good. The backlight is a little dim near the edges, particularly the left and right. It's not too bad, but keeps me from giving this monitor a 5-star rating.

Fine monitor, but incorrect resolution.
Yeah, this is not a 4k 3840x2160 monitor. It is a 2560x1440 monitor. I had to buy a second (correct) one, now I have this fine monitor, but I need to pawn it off on someone else.

So so disappointing
I bought this from their website thus the lack of a "verified purchase" tag.Cons:I got this expecting at the very least an entry level HDR monitor. What I got instead was one of the WORST displays I've ever seen in Windows. NONE of the colors are right and this screen is NOT bright enough for HDR content. Not only that but the screen darkens dramatically if you so much as change the contrast by just ONE value. Skin tones in particular are so horribly shown with either the faces being washed out even with the lowest of contrast or just wrong in general. Darker skin tones can make people literally disappear in darkly lit scenes on shows. What's strange is that in games this DOES work....but only for the few games that support it.Is this all Monoprices fault though? No, Windows is a huge factor too. In Microsoft's infinite stupidity they gimp the hell out of HDR monitors with their stupidity in their thought process with non HDR content actually believing that their customers are too stupid to know how to lower brightness. The fact that this is half of the fault of Microsoft with their HORRIBLE implementation of HDR within windows is what's keeping this from being a 1 star review to be honest.Pros:With HDR off this actually is a really decent monitor. Nice and slim bezels with what is there being so unobtrusive. The stand isn't the best but overall is very good for the price. Seriously more manufacturers need to put on a cover, they cost less than a dollar to put on there! The screen itself with HDR off is also very nice with pixel density great and not falsely advertised like some 1440p monitors from off brands use. The only bummer is lackluster overlocking support with the best I've been able to push being 62hz although since it's HDR I kinda see why. Conclusion:Is this worth buying? That depends, are you wanting an HDR monitor NOW and don't mind the content looking HORRIBLE in Windows except for games with a lack of high refresh rates? Then yes it's worth it. Are you willing to wait for the technology to mature and for Microsoft to get their act together with HDR support? Then continue to wait because this isn't the be all end all monitor to get right now.
