Cartoons Wurlitzer Jukebox Life-Size Cardboard Stand-Up

This was purchased to be used as a prop in a stage production. We first glued a heavy piece of cardboard to the back of the cutout. Two 10"x10"x40" boxes, painted black, were attached to the back for depth and added stability. We lit the top with a short strand (35) of blinking Christmas tree lights. They were placed through small holes from the back (in the outside red edge) so only the lights were visible. Many people wanted to know where we got the jukebox, thinking it was real. On stage, this was very realistic and exactly what we needed. (If you plan on using this where there will be activity around it you will need to reinforce it, as we did. The tri-fold stand is not sturdy and the jukebox tends to bend where it was folded for shipment. However, this being said it was worth the few minutes it took to reinforce and stabilize. I bought this cardboard standup jukebox for a music program. IT is VERY realistic. The kids were so excited when I put it up in the classroom. I will have to reinforce it to use on stage but that's not a big problem. The way it stands up is sort of like a picture frame with a piece of card board that bends in the back and for me, I am afraid the kids will knock it over! If you place it in a way that it won't be bumped into, the stand part will work for you. I am going to use a large cardboard box in the back so the juke box will remain upright. At any rate, I think it was a great purchase and I am happy with it!

This item was colorful, somewhat accurate in style, and served it's purpose. As it was only a flat cutout, we added sides, lights and other things to create a "real" jukebox. The jukebox is already being used in a musical play. We are very happy with the results.

The jukebox looked great. However, it wouldn't stand up; I had to prop it on something. Alternate means must be in place so the product can stand on its own. I would not recommend this product.

Really flimsy and looks cheap.

I bought one of these same jukeboxes in 2004 and it was perfect. This one I just purchased is horrid. The seams are all nasty, the stand is bend the entire way, from top to bottom. I had to reinforce it with a medal stripping to make it stand up. It looked like someone else had used it prior to to sending it to me. I was 100% disatified.

We used this as a prop for my daughters competition dance team. It looks very real when on stage. We did mount this prop because it's made of cardboard and needs to last all year. Great purchase for parties, props, etc.

This was better than we expected for the price. The graphics are printed cleanly & clearly. It's not super stable but works fine for a prop
