These are great hog ring pliers. They work great and save you a bunch of time. I use them at my mini mart to staple bags of ice for sale, much better and fast than a twist tie. At home Ive used them to hog ring some chicken wire and also upholster a truck seat. If you go super fast it will misfire but so will other brands. Once you get a hang of pressure and speed these wont steer you wrong. I suggest buying dewalt staples for this, they work better and have a pointy edge if you need to pierce fabric.

Simple, effective and easy to use.I was a little concerned about the ability of a fairly lightweight tool to accurately close narrow hog -rings but these pliars perform pretty well flawlessly.Positioning of the jaws is all-important when clipping two wires together but once one gets the hang of that these pliars work as claimed and save lots and lots of time.I suggest buying your hog-rings from U-Line: not where you might expect the best price perhaps but in this case they do and good service too.

All good delivery and the tool works just as advertised much more conveniently and neatly and less expensive over time than zip ties for the close wire to wire closures. And this tool from these folks appears to be the equal of more expensive ones on fence sites.

This hog ring "stapler" works great for attaching chicken wire to other pieces of chicken wire or attaching chicken wire to 1/8" steel wire. That's what I was using it for and it saved a TON of time over other ways I could have attached things together. It occasionally has a 'mis-fire" when you are using it but a wasted hog ring here or there really isn't a big deal in my mind.

I used P7SP staples. The crimp is great but is doesn't close the staple close enough. The size of the oblong is about 1/4 x 5/16. It will work for larger casings but will not hold large natural casings. It is a very handy tool except it doesn't work for all casings.

I got this for a specific purpose-connecting hardware cloth. Effective, if a little hard to fit into the space. Could use a little more leverage so the ring closes fully.

Handy tool. I install fence professionally and this tool makes attaching poultry netting a snap. Seems well built and functions well. A versatile tool.
