Neutrogena Norwegian Formula Intensive Moisture Wrap Body Treatment Ff, 10.5 Oz

I've written a long, extensive review about it on another purchase I've made of a pack of three of these, so I'll just paste it here, because it's about the product, not the pack of three, so it's relevant:I have severe lifelong atopic dermatitis (eczema), making my skin exceptionally sensitive and dry.I get very allergic to random things very quickly, and it all appears as rashes, itching, dry, flaky skin.In the past I have tried (and I'm not exaggerating) pretty much hundreds of oils, lotions, ointments, antihistamines, gels — anything, really, to stop the dryness and the itching. Nothing was good enough, not even things that people have said "cured their children's eczema" or are "miracle workers". Nothing worked, honestly.Then one day a couple of weeks ago I ran into a little video on YouTube of a woman (completely unsponsored, in her home, just talking to the camera from her own experience, about her own experience) discussing how she got rid of her dry, itchy skin. She talked about several different things that she tried to do and use, but she was absolutely ecstatic talking about this specific product. At the end of her video, the woman posted before and after pictures: her flaky, dry skin had turned to normal, smooth skin within about two weeks. I know you're probably thinking that I sound like an infomercial, but this video was so clearly not an infomercial that I thought "what the heck".Now, even though I've tried many different ways to stop my skin from itching, that does not mean that I won't try more — I have to keep trying in order to stop this madness. I immediately purchased this product to give it a try.I used this product twice a day — right after the shower, and as I go to sleep. I used to have to reapply my moisturizers in the middle of the night (yes, that would mean waking up, especially because my skin is itching) and then also multiple times during the day. I no longer have to reapply my moisturizer more than two times a day. It's very important to apply moisturizer right after you shower, because your skin is still absorbing all of the moisture from the shower. The sleep thing is just so I could sleep at night without unconsciously scratching at my skin; it's a habit, really.I honestly will never stop buying this. I recommend this to people who suffer from severely dry skin, eczema, who feel that they need to reapply moisturizer constantly, and to people with children who suffer from child eczema, because I do believe that the right moisturizer could actually fix the skin from the inside as well as from the outside; I do believe that it could prevent your child from having eczema as an adult, but I'm no pro, obviously.I have used many products by Neutrogena before, and most of these products were meant for people with eczema. I have never been that pleased, but this specific project is very different. I don't even have to apply a whole lot to my skin for it to naturally change it. Unlike other products have tried, this product does not feel like a miracle — you don't feel instant relief of anything. But honestly, I can only assume that the feeling of instant relief comes at a cost in the long-term, having to continue reapplying over and over again, kind of like some lip balms out there. This product is the kind of product that you'd wake up one morning and go all "dang, my skin is smooth! Awesome!"Since my skin is so severely dry, I would assume that if you have a combination or oily skin – this probably is going to do a lot of damage. I have no idea, because my issue is exactly the opposite, but this is obviously for dry skin. Don't use it if you have, say, body acne. I am pretty sure this isn't good for that. You know, common sense stuff :) But again, if you or someone you care about has severely dry skin and/or eczema, I can confidently say that this worked amazingly well for both me and the lady on the YouTube video.I'm not sharing the YouTube video here, because I'm pretty sure it's going to look like a sponsored review if I post a link on here, but if you are interested in watching that video as well, you can just comment on my review and I will look for it online and find it for you.

The Neutrogena Norwegian Formula line of skin moisturizers are by far the best products I have ever used. In fact, this brand version is the only moisturizer I will ever buy again. The reason is quite simple, the Norwegian formula works better than any other type of moisturizer I've ever used.I used to suffer badly each winter with cracked, sore finger tips and nail beds. My skin would crack and became so sore that I could barely use my hands. It literally ruined my enjoyment of playing golf because my hands were so sore. I also found myself unable to button my shirts. Then a golfing pal of mine who was a dermatologist saw me with several of my finger tips bandaged up and asked me what was wrong. I told him about the dry and cracked skin. He didn't say anything but a few days later he showed up with a small tube of Neutrogena Norwegian Formula hand cream. He told me to apply it to my fingers each night before bedtime for a couple of weeks and then once a week during the dry winter season. A week later I noticed a huge improvement, and after two weeks my fingers were completely normal and the pain and discomfort were gone. That was over 15 years ago and every time I look at my hands I am reminded of the decades of suffering which came before. I have now discovered Neutrogena's intensive moisture wrap Norwegian Formula skin care and use it a couple of times a week on my face, arms, and legs to help with my aging skin dryness. I do not and have not worked for Neutrogena in any capacity. I simply am a true believer in this wonderful product line and if you or anyone you care about is suffering from dry skin I recommend trying this line of skin moisturizers.

I used this lotion daily for about 20 years (including the one that preceded it called Neutrogena Emulsion) & it is still the best and only lotion that adequately moisturized my skin and lasted all day. I was shocked to learn that the people at Neutrogena decided to discontinue this product and emailed them immediately to request that they not do so. I also asked if perhaps it had been repackaged under a different name such as happened several years ago when it went from being the Emulsion to being Intensive Moisture Wrap Body Treatment. I was told that it has not been re-packaged and was encouraged to try the new Hydroboost get. I did so and was very disappointed. That product is NOWHERE near as good as the previous one. I'm very curious as to why they d/c'd it and would love to know the truth. I certainly hope it wasn't found to be cancer-causing or some such medical reason as I used it SO much, I'd surely be at risk had that been the case. I recommend that those who like this product write to Neutrogena and protest this incredibly stupid decision as well so that, HOPEFULLY, they'll begin selling it again (as long as it doesn't cause health problems, that is. Of course!) I'm glad (and not surprised) to see the other reviews here that echo my feelings about it. Fingers crossed it'll be back on the shelves soon!

I have very dry and cracked skin, and this product helps it stay moisturized for the day. It's thicker, creamier, and lasts longer than Cetaphil. And it is not greasy like Eucerin. Also, there is absolutely no odor, which I like. Great mosturizer!

Have dry skin issue.. was using Neutrogena Norwegian Formula Body Emulsion for over 4-5 years. Haven't found a better product than this for dry skin daily usage.. suddenly Netrogena decided to stop the production of Body Emulsion and replace with this new product Intensive Moisture Wrap. No complaints.. absolutely perfect for dry skin management, day long effect, fragrance-free is added advantage for men who don't prefer the lingering sweet fragrance of other body moisturizers.

I always used to use Neutrogena body e,ulsion and was devatsed when it was discontinued :-( then I discovered this it is just as good and gives my very dry skin the moisture, hydration and comfort that it needs all day - I love it and wish that they supplied it to the UK!

Suffering from very dry skin all my life, I was delighted to find a product which leaves my skin feeling smooth and silky but not sticky. It lasts too. Sadly it is very expensive but you get what you pay for !

This is an excellent product, I had very bad dry skin, and this cream was introduced by a friend, he actually bought me one tub from the US and since then, there is no going back. A wonderful product.
