I had initially planned to return this and get the larger barrel however after using it for the past 2 days, I am very impressed and happy with this product! It does exactly what it's supposed to and I am just sad I didn't know about this item sooner. If you want fuller hair, volume that stays, order this now. Game changer for my hair.

Wow!!! I saw this product on tiktok and I was very skeptical. I have very fine hair and I have tried EVERYTHING to get body and volume. Everything either weighed it down or fell flat within an hour. I reluctantly ordered from Amazon since I knew I'd be able to return easier if it didn't work. Boy did it work!!! The volume held for over 12 hours out in the heat and humidity. It does give your hair a "crimped" look, so I don't do the top layer of hair, letting that top layer cover the crimped hair. This is an absolute game changer for me!!!

I realize this tool is not cheap, but you will get what you pay for. If you are on the fence about investing in the Voloom, please give it a chance. IT WORKS! I have very thick, but very fine, flat hair (poofy at the ends but FLAT at the scalp). I’ve never in my life found any “product” I could put in my hair to create LASTING volume that didn’t flop a couple hours later. Products inevitably cause my hair to look greasy and weighed down. As long as you follow the instructions, you cannot see the “waffling” in the hair as it’s well hidden. Just voluminous hair that lasts. I have found that with my hair being a bit on the oily side, I usually need a slight “touch up” with some dry shampoo and the tool on next-day hair, but the volume is truly still there from the day before! It is so nice not to have to dread styling my hair. I would call this tool “life changing.” The other good reviews are not exaggerating.

I really like this hair iron. It is quick and easy and adds body the my hair. However, I think it works better with a little longer hair. Not a problem, my hair is growing.

Where has this been all my life?!?!? Big fan of volume, but not squared off/rats nest. Nothing ever has held. Nothing. This is the solution. And it holds for DAYS!! Sometimes it’s almost too good. Don’t overdo it 😜 I’m so excited to see how much relief this gives my hair. I’m sure it’ll be healthier and I’ll have less breakage. Love, love, love it.

I don't often write reviews, but since hair is such a struggle for me, I feel compelled. I heard about this product from my hairdresser. Another of her clients recommended it. So, as soon as I could get to wifi, I started watching You Tube reviews. So excited! Yes, the price is quite steep, but if you struggle with silky fine hair, you are almost willing to trade an arm for better hair. I have just below chin length inverted hair that is fine and thin. When I first got the product, I styled my hair as normal (I use dry shampoo, texturizer, heat protectant, volumizing products, volumizing blow dryer, curling iron, etc.) Then, I pinned my hair on the top of my head and started working in sections dropping down as I went. I started at a temp of 300 degrees to try to minimize heat damage. I did not "Voloom" the top layer so the crimping would not show. Yes, there was a bump in volume! I could still see the crimped hair peaking through...It annoyed me, but the volume was worth it. I gave a final spray happy with the results. Money worth spending. Until, I went out the door. I haven't mentioned that I live in the Gulf South and the air is often so humid and liquidy. Five minutes outside and the flat was back. I could feel a little of the texture was there, but not a lot of bump. I went right back and Voloomed a couple of areas, but by the end of the day, there was no evidence of my new product. I have repeated this several times raising the temperature each time. This thing is miraculous if you don't deal with tropical humidity often. However, I may keep it in my arsenal for the 15 days of the year when the humidity is not so bad. It's an awful lot to spend for just a few days, though. I felt obligated to give my southern girls a heads up.

I’m 65 and have a lot of fine hair. It holds a style well but goes flat when I sleep on my side and I have a cowlick at the crown of my left side part. When this arrived I used it to see if it would pump up the volume on my flat side and it did the job wonderfully! I even got the side opposite my cowlick to match volume-wise so it is less noticeable. I used it on 350. Small learning curve. I watched a YT vid where the girl took the section of hair and held it vertically then clamped the roots, and once more further down. I have just past shoulder length hair and did 3 clamps on each section. I like volume just below my crown as well. Just play with it a bit and you will be pleased! Since my hair is fine I took a bit more hair in the section to clamp as it seemed to clamp down better with more hair in it, not just a little bit. It even helps clips to hold onto the hair better. I’ve used all sorts of tools and root amps and texturizes and powders that left my hair feeling funky. This tool is worth the money, actually you might save money by buying this instead of all the products!
