I have a heavy science background, but I had no idea of the relative abrasiveness of many popular kinds of toothpaste till a recent visit with a far more knowledgeable dentist.While the taste of this toothpaste is rather bland, what is critical is that it has one of the lower abrasiveness of all major toothpaste on the market.Many popular kinds of toothpaste do WEAR AWAY YOUR TOOTH ENAMEL and therefore your teeth.As to why this is not well known, I have no idea but do Google it yourselves and then search for pics that show the major abrasion that will happen with high abrasive variants of brands.You cannot trust only one brand, since the many different versions of them can vary from low to very high abrasiveness.While some people can have an allergic reaction to elements in any toothpaste, it is very unlikely that there is any significant peroxide in this formula that will "burn" your tongue or lips. Of course, if it does, then find another low abrasive toothpaste.No one should buy this toothpaste based on anything but a low abrasion cost-effective formula with a basic benign taste.One should also research this online and with a good dentist.Other dental tips is to do not flavor water or tea with lemon juice & avoid citrus...if used then brush immediately later. GERD & teeth grinding at night will also slowly wear away your teeth....so, therefore, get heartburn [GERDs] under control at a younger age and consider a mouth guard for teeth grinding.You must use Flouride toothpaste... those so-called natural toothpaste are harmful.Proper nutrition will support healthy gums, good microbes, and healthier teeth/mouth.Uncontrolled Sleep Apnea is likely also not a great thing for your teeth and it can also degrade your health till you become Psychotic or worse.Sweet plus acid plus abrasion will help destroy your teeth....and you may not notice till a new dentist tells you when you are 50-60...which is too late.Dental implants cost a fortune and major dental work can be extremely painful & horrid.So beware as you age & just maybe you can keep most of your teeth by 60....and also keep your sanity.Good luck!

This is another great purchase from the arm and hammer brand. I love how fresh the toothpaste makes my breath feel. I don’t feel that I have bad morning breath when I use this toothpaste at bedtime.I definitely recommend.
