The Clock Struck One: A Time-Telling Tale (Math Is Fun!)

What a fun book! My grandson wanted to read it over and over. He helped me find all the characters as one more was added page by page. He's a little young to understand the ending. That will come in time.

My 19-month-old grandson loves clocks, and I searched and searched for a book with a lot of clock pictures. This one fits the bill, and we read it over and over and over. It's a cute story with darling illustrations, but the numerous clocks on each page are what fascinate him. I'm likely going to order another one because--being that it has paper pages--this one probably won't last much longer.

Very cute story. I am always trying to find items that don't use digital numbers. I want my grandchildren to know how to tell time. This is a step in the right direction.

I got this book for my 2 & 3 year old sons...it is a great story! It not only "teaches" time, but has great rhyming and illustrations. It is one that holds their attention through the entire book-something that not many books can do!

My 4 year old LOVES this book. It captures his attention! It is a great way to introduce the concept of the clock and telling time. I enjoy the notes at the end of the book telling the difference between digital and analog clocks and also telling how to tell the hours and minutes. I really enjoy this book. I got it from the library and we love it so much I decided to buy it for our own school library collection. We will enjoy this book for years to come. What a captivating way to learn about the clock!
